Insuperable location. Period building renovated with taste and maintaining impressive original features like the wooden floors, beams, and stone walls. Well ventilated. Plenty of communal spaces to hang out, work or relax. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good WiFi. Good breakfast options (fruits, juices, vegetable milks, coffee, toasts, jams, honey, sugar, cereals...) included. Quiet and respectful guests. Comfortable mattress. Very safe for solo travellers.

My capsule was a double. The tv didn't work because the control panel was broken. I think that it also affected the locking system which wasn't working either, as well as the USB port, so I had to charge my phone outside de capsule. I spoke to other guests that said they were experiencing the same so I believe they don't bother much about that side of maintenance. Despite the tv not working, its red light was on the whole time and I had to cover it with a pillow as it would brighten the capsule at nighttime. Fairly clean although one of my neighbours must have been a heavy smoker and his odour would trespass the walls. That hedious smell didn't make me feel I was sleeping in a clean room even though it was clean.

Good location, the capsules give one a bit of privacy.

Not possible to leave luggage for a couple of days if one e.g. wants to go on a hike. Early closing time for the checkin, which might be a problem, in case a ferry is late.

- the capsuls are something diffrent and kind of adventure - price ok - hostel gets cleaned every day - the free breakfast was good

- for the double capsule with 2 people you still get only one locker for luggage. And the locker is not bigger as a single capsule one. There should be 2 lockers for a double capsule - capsules are not lockable - USB port of 2 was not working. Lucky. In other capsules both ports were not working - a bit of street noise - community areas are ok but not really nice - in the time we were there, there was no really hostel life. Everyone just did their own business

The hostel is located in the city center, just where the bus 500 from the airport stops (stop la recova) in front of the city market. Nice old house with high ceilings, welcoming lady super nice, capsule as expected (although it has no socket or usb-c plug, only 2 old usb ones - no possibility to charge apple devices unless u still have good old usb cables - I did not). Shower area ok, bit messy with people, cleaning level medium. Locker big enough. Breakfast amenities, biscuits, bread, butter & jam, muesli stuff, and a coffee shop around the corner, plus Spar (the German supermarket, spar means save) in front. O’Daly street and all good things very close. Altogether good for the price.

Great, what you get for the price is great. Just be careful with parking. Night around is 10 euros. Better park half mile away for free and walk. Also the fan inside should be stronger and quieter. But if you open the capsule door for 5 minutes in middle of night, it helps. Thank you for nice experience, I will comeback. Opposite is market with fresh products and around corner many restaurants. Also it has roof terrace with view. Ideal for backpackers.

The location is just perfect, you'll be right in the heart of Santa Cruz, there's many buses nearby and it's a great place to sleep if you want to visit the city. The breakfast is good too and the place is good looking and pretty clean from what I've seen.

The beds aren't super comfortable and the place is a bit hot. Also you can't stay inside the hostel from 12AM to 3PM, that's the main issue for me.

It was very clean, all shared facilities were cleaned daily, also the lockers for personal belongings are quite large so its easy to fit suitcases or hiking gear

The ventilation inside the capsules did jot work that well and was sometimes quite noisy, it was nicer to leave the door open, also the usb Ports did not work in all capsules..

I liked that the staff was very kind, making videos for me so I can actually enter after 22:30, and that they took care that I will be able to do it. It was very clean, well organised, very easy to arrive from the port.

I did not enjoy the noise of the cars on the street, also that the guests actually drop their clothes in front of their capsules, even if this is against the rules.

The capsules r for individual use and they’re private and nice. Bathroom was nice too. Free breakfast included which was nice! Had muffins, crossoints, cereals, tea, coffee. And they let me have it earlier cos i was checking out early which was very nice!

There wasn’t anyone at reception to open door for me to store my luggage before checkin. The number to call wasn’t on WhatsApp so i couldnt do normal calls. Someone let me in and i just put my luggage and left a msg on this site.

Very helpful staff. A very efficiently run hostel in a lovely building. The breakfast was excellent. I liked the fact that it is Not a 'party hostel', and enjoyed the relaxed, calm atmosphere. Amazing beds like nothing I've seen before!

A few more comfy chairs/beanbag chairs would have been nice in the lounge area to give it a slightly more cosy atmosphere, as it is a bit on the minimalist, clean cut side of things. But I'm nitpicking here.
