Yaiza who was serving at breakfast was so kind and friendly. She kept smiling even though on one day she had to manage the breakfasts for the entire hotel on her own. The bed was very comfy. There was a kettle and fridge in the room. Nice looking hotel with modern decor. The hotel was on the front and convenient for the beach, buses and restaurants. The bus to the beautiful quiet beach of Los Cancajos was only a ten minute ride.

My room was small. The hot water boiler was not working when i arrived so I couldn’t get a shower. It was fixed by next morning. The rest of the time the water pressure fluctuated. There should be more staff at breakfast. Fruit and eggs ran out quickly. Reception staff could be more friendly (apart from Yaiza). I felt like I was annoying them with my questions

Breakfast was great and breakfast staff could not have been more helpful. Location was the best possible - on the sea front and right in the middle of the old town - near all the best bars and restaurants. Near the bus station. Must make a note of the bus services throughout the island. Frequent, punctual cheap and enabled me to get everywhere on the island - as I did not want to hire a car.

Can't think of anything that would have been better

Excellent small hotel, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and overlooking the sea. There was construction work going on the road and seafront outside the hotel when we were there, but that was not the fault of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, with a good bathroom and a mini-fridge. The staff were very kind. The lady who was in charge of breakfasts was exceptional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for this lovely person, who remembered people and what they liked and made us feel very much at home, She is also an excellent cook (try her cakes).

The only negative thing was the construction noise - but that was not the fault of the hotel and the work will have moved on quickly so should not be a problem for other people. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Santa Cruz.

The location is fabulous -right in the heart of the old town ..free parking by the port ..hotel very charming , excellent breakfast and staff …especially the young man on reception and the very friendly woman serving breakfast …went over and above our expectations. The room was good and the bed very comfortable!

Our room was a top floor double room with terrace ..bedroom quite small but ok with windows to terrace open …but high wall at front of terraced obscured view and the high wall to right of the terrace could do with painting as badly stained …with a few tweaks / decor the terrace could be amazing …the bathrooom and shower are good but a little worn …

Great location near the port and all rooms had a balcony of some sort, some with sea view and others looking onto a picturesque street in the historic centre. The breakfast lady was very helpful and kind and the cleaner was super-friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, beds comfortable . A pretty good choice overall

There's quite a lot of noise from the busy road if you're at the front. No real communal or lounge area to hang out. Reception staff not particularly memorable. Rooms good but some nicer than others.

Everything was good, the breakfast was exceptional, the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Mey and Belen, "arrive a stranger, leave a friend" The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you need, including a kettle. Perfect location on the sea front with plenty of shops and restaurants close by, the hotel itself has a well stocked shop for drinks, water, wine, beer, chocolate, etc at very reasonable prices. The airport bus stop is right outside the hotel, bus number 500, it only takes 15 minutes and was 2.40 euros per person each way. We will definitely return. Garry and Gina.

Nothing to dislike.

Thank you for a lovely stay, accommodations, breakfast and location, but a very special thank you for the hardworking friendly staff. If we come back or are asked to recommend a place, we will recommend you to our friends visiting La Palma. We loved the balcony and the view of the ocean.

Hotel and its staff absolutely first class. Friendly service. Breakfast selection delicious. Fantastic views. We had the Juliette balcony overlooking the sea. Called a balcony it actually wasn't what we expected as we expected a balcony with sunbeds! However we were very happy and enjoyed our stay. Beds so very comfortable. 🥰

We didn't like the fact there is no where to sit or lay on the beach opposite the hotel. No shade from the sun except for a disabled covered area. We had planned a day lazing on the beach.. sad it didn't happened. We did wonder why the beach was so empty. 😏

The welcoming meeting in the reception, the with room with an excellent bed, super clean and fresh, free bottles of water together with tee an coffee, extra items in the bathroom and before departure the excellent breakfast. Friendly staff, breakfast on the calm backstreet with beautiful buildings and trees. Magnificent breakfast menu and everything fresh. Cant be better!

Everything ok

Really good location - great for getting buses which is how we got around the whole island. It looked like the whole hotel had been refurbished recently and all to a good standard. We had one of the top floor rooms with a very large terrace overlooking the sea - very quiet with no noticeable traffic noise. Really nice bathroom. Very easy to get to the hotel from the airport via the number 500 bus. Friendly staff.

The breakfast had most things that you would want but it was a pain asking for milk whenever needed. The bedroom was on the small side but quite adequate for us.
