This is an extremely pretty little hotel. The location is great (but mind the steps you need to take up in case you're not aware there's a lift), the staff is friendly and the beds and pillow are comfortable. Great patio as well. There is coffee, fresh water and fruits in the lobby which is really nice.

Two little things. 1. The shower cabin was really small and doors did not close well, so you have to be careful, otherwise water would run out. 2. We could hear doors slamming all the time (they might consider putting some sort of anti-slam cushions or pads). Breakfast costs 12 euros while you can get a basic breakfast outside for 3-4 euros.

Hotel San Telmo is a secluded, special sanctuary. Simply splendid. One of if not the nicest places I've ever stayed, gorgeous gardens, generous hosts, romantic and relaxing. Beautifully restored and maintained Casa Canaria combining all things historic, chic, and central, with plenty of practical resources. I booked for a week and stayed for two. Delightful property in the old part of Santa Cruz. Our room (number 1) had private outside space which was very verdant and welcoming. Roof terrace a bonus. Coffee, tea and fruit available in lobby. Every night candles are dotted around the terrace and outside spaces. Very cozy. Friendly cats. Owners put on a new year's toast on the terrace which was a nice touch. Rooms very comfortable and clean. A very relaxing place to stay just steps away from the main street of Santa Cruz.

Fairytale of an hotel in an historic neighbourhood of Santa Cruz. Very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast, most beautiful room I ever slept in. Simply stunning. Some tips; it is possible to park in the narrow streets around the hotel. It is also possible to park at the marina, but this parking can be busy. It is comfortable use the free "Ascensor La Luz" elevator to cross the considerable height difference between the sea level and the San Telmo neighbourhood, but it has limited operating hours, especially in weekends.

Small excellent hotel. Perfectly located in the old town walking distance to shops, restaurants & beach. Simple and tasteful. Staff very attentive, , with a nice breakfast- catered for my gluten free needs. lovely sun terrace. Be warned Santa Cruse is very hilly, parking is a lottery so if hiring a car select a small one. There is on street parking all around the old town.

Nothing recommend it to couples, not set up for children

We had a wonderful stay and would, without a doubt, come back to this place if we would be in Santa Cruz once more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole interieur and exterieur design are well thought of and are very atmospheric. Location is great. Breakfast is good. The garden and terrace are lovely places to spend time drinking wine. If you take one of the rooms with a balcony, you feel like you’re in a picture frame. Waking up with the sun in your face. All of this comes together to offer a very relaxing stay. In addition, we had rental bikes we could leave on the premises.

We really noticed when on the second morning the cleaners had mopped the floor. Before that, socks/feet would get visibly dirty. Cleanliness other than that is good.

Great room, loved every detail, roomy, comfy, excellent bed, nice bathroom. Everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly, got a couple of good suggestions for nice restaurants, a city map, infos for the bus, vey helpful staff!

Very cosy place with a wonderful terrace and atrium with fountain, old style. I stayed in one of those apartments without sea view or view onto the atrium, which did not matter at all, because if you want sea view you can go up to the terrace and chill. There is a very friendly cat to pat if you want. Cool drinking water free, a small bar with cool drinks for before you go to bed. All clean, good breakfast, etc.

Not much to improve. The internet stopped once or twice.

There was nothing not to like. The staff were friendly and very helpful The hotel is better than the photos and the terrace is beautiful. We had a lovely, large room with sea views and the most comfortable bed. We would definitely stay again.

Nice accomodation with balcony view on ocean and fresh wind. All clean and nice, good breakfast. You can also get refreshments out of a cooler in the hotel. Location is also great, close to old center but quite area.
