The premises is just lovely, and the surroundings as well. We wanted to stay in the countryside. Had a lovely roundtrip morning walking to nearby village Montiro. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the receptionist provied us with a lot of useful information to our questions about things to do in Escala upon check in. No staff during the night, and only spanish speaking staff in the mornings until 12.00 during our stay. Did not have breakfast but it seemed to be a ok selection to choose from. Nice intimate setting in a casual dining room.

The restaurant was closed during weekdays in low season, would have been nice to get that information when booking/on the website as there are few options nearby. I feel that a four star hotel in this price range should be able to care to english speaking guests. There were no one speaking English in the mornings/during check out. Had a room directly above the kitchen, and the two ladies at work were talking loudly, and I didnt get to sleep again on the first morning. It didnt bother me that much, but this is an older building and the sound carries well.

Quiet place, with just a few rooms. Feels like being home. Very nice staff. Loved hanging out at the garden long chairs by the pool. Very good tomatoes from their own veggie garden and sea bass dish. Varied breakfast options, with freshly squeezed orange juice. Having breakfast in the garden tables was really nice. 10-15min drive to the closest town, L’Escala, with plenty of dining options and by the sea walks.

Breakfast had quite a few options but cold meats (embutidos) and eggs were not great. Bed mattress was very (too) soft.

Room 9 was excellent. Very comfortable with good facilities Good swimming pool and facilities for indoor or outdoor meals Staff worked hard and gave very good service

Just one small point was that we found the floor of the shower was quite slippery near to the outlet If you do not have a car, the Taxi service was good but quite expensive.

Absolutely stunning place! So picturesque! Located in a quiet area but close to the beaches. Our rooms were beautiful and large, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant looks just incredible. The gardens, the courtyard and pool area are gorgeous - definitely coming back!

Dirty bedsheets and a lot of dust in the room. We came to the hotel and there was no one at front desk we left for lunch and came back later in the afternoon and all ok

Lovely peaceful rural hotel. Very efficient and friendly staff. Great spot for some down time with your beloved. Short drive to nice beaches etc.

Restaurant is closed for dinner on Sunday and Wednesday, so be prepared to drive for your evening meal.We ate a big lunch, then grabbed a bottle of wine and ate our own food in the room which was fine too.

Very helpful staff who responded quickly when we had a problem with the air con. We loved the calm quiet atmosphere 10 mins away from the more touristy areas of the coast. The well kept garden was a nice place to sit and read

Quiet and nature location. Close to beaches. The modern design rooms were very comfortable with nice balconies.

One of the staff was curt and strict enforcer of strange rules. The pool area was nice but the decking was rather old and could be replaced. Breakfast was nice but eggs were always cold.

It was a wonderful stay! Couldn't find any negative part, honestly. The staff is super friendly and the guy at Reception was really helpful. I had a problem with my rental car and he helped me a lot! The cleaning was impeccable and the facilities are so great. The breakfast was also amazing, big variety of food. I was staying in a standard room but I can't imagine how cool would be the one with terrace, at the entrance. I guess I found a great hotel and I'll definitely be back!

Too short stay! I would have loved to stay few more nights. The pool closes too early!

If I have one criticism it would be that the restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday evening
