Great hotel and a great location. Breakfast was good quality, good variety and plentiful. The room was I expected it to be, on the small side but very clean and comfortable with a fridge. Great air conditioning. Room tip - rooms with pool view get the afternoon sun so if you want to use the balcony from about 2pm it was very hot, the rooms at the front overlooking the street would be cooler but there is music at the bar below until around midnight. We had the evening meal twice as an optional extra for 15 euro each, the steak and mushroom pie was to die for! Only criticism would be that chips was the only potato available. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Entertainment was great, lots of people walking past were just stopping to watch it.

We knew about the building work before we went so it was our choice to go. I just stuck my earphones in and listened to music so it didn't really bother me. It was very hot when we went so a little more shade around the pool would be ideal, there are umbrellas but they are fixed and at a fixed height which made them awkward to use. A nice big sail shade would be a great addition if the hotel want suggestions!

The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. For a 2-star hotel, it's good. The cleanliness of the room, the quality of cleaning and clean white towels were for us. The staff is great, friendly and ready to help. Great pool for adults and children. Massage chair, washing machine, gym - it's all there! Wonderful breakfasts and dinners (for an extra charge), we are satisfied with the choice, taste and variety of dishes. For this hotel there is a sufficiently large selection of dishes and good quality products. Air conditioning, mini fridge, balcony - super.

As soon as our shuttle brought us to the hotel, I was disappointed in it. The exterior looks terrible, the entrance and the cheap bar next door make the experience very bad. The music from the bar keeps me awake and it's really loud in fact. The next disappointment is the beach, or rather the lack of it (what is there nearby is just rocks and pebbles), the nearest beach (normal!) is 16 minutes and 1 kilometer away. In the heat, it's a lot! There is a playground for children, but it's terrible and unfortunate.

Friendly helpful reception team . Clean room with decent balcony overlooking the street and down to the sea . Used the gym every morning . I liked it feeling lively downstairs with music and Kareoke. It finished by 11ish and slept really well here , but I would say bring some ear plugs if you like to go to sleep before 11 .

I would have liked somewhere to hang wet clothes on the balcony , rather than just draping over chairs to dry things .

Excellent breakfast. Good entertainment. Very helpful staff, arranged trip for us. Very clean bright bedroom.

Difficult to park near the hotel, more information needed regarding this. Paid for sea view but hotel situated between high buildings so no sea view. Suited for older age range. Never been to a hotel where we had to clear the table at the end of the meal.

Exceptionally friendly staff

Pool tiles needed a good scrub. The noise of other guests coming up the stairs or via lift, talking, shouting till 2am

Near by parking convenient to everything loads of shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely big beach 15 mins walk up the beautiful promenade. Smaller beach beside hotel. Lovely staff all very welcoming. Was my second time staying here would definitely stay again.

If you have small children it might be an idea to email them and ask not to be on the front room over the bar

Breakfast was amazing. Dinner was ok but a bit like school dinner and I wouldn’t rush to book it again. Amazing price with booking.com but direct or with jet2 were stupid prices for the hotel which isnt worth the prices they are charging this year. I knew the hotel as I have stayed before , the staff are fantastic and it’s family ran and it shows. Fab entertainment (if you can get a seat) and the rooms have been upgraded with air con which is a definite bonus x

The accommodation is extremely clean, linen changed daily and staff friendly and helpful. Pool area clean and always quiet (July 23-30) The hotel is basic, clean, and family run. We essentially used it as a base to explore the island. Cheap and cheerful. Heads up it is home to the British Bar and it is very lively in the evening. To be honest we had a four year old with us so sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the antics was quite funny. We didn’t eat at the hotel as it was aimed very much at Brits and we like to explore. Cala Bona is lovely, I would say very British and if your looking to try some real tapas head to Palma or the North of the island. Would definitely recommend as a basic clean base for anyone on a budget.
