Great staff nothing too much trouble. Always a smiling face, which is great to see. Location great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Train station 3 minutes walk away. Bus station a lot further, not easy walking on cobble streets with wheely suitcases. Nice coffee shop under the hotel which was very nice. Also a restaurant which we didn’t get chance to try. It opens as 8.30 until 10.00 in the evenings. It is definitely worth more than one star. Stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Would have loved a kettle in the room but understand why it was not there when you can go downstairs for a drink.

The receptionist assigned me a suite right next to the elevator. I asked if it was possible to change it, but she told me it was impossible unless I upgraded to a more expensive suite. We decided not to change the room, but a couple of hours later, I found out there were other similar rooms available on our floor when I asked. It was disappointing

We stayed here for one night on a cycle trip. The staff were very friendly and we were able to securely store our bikes in a garage overnight. The beds were very comfortable and the a/c a blessing as it was quite hot and humid. Breakfast was great with a really good selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, meats, cheeses and breads.

The beds in the twin rooms are touching and there is no option to separate them due to the furniture.

Great location, lovely room, nice bar and dining area. All staff friendly with one exception…

One miserable member of staff (male) who objected in a very rude way to my non existent Spanish. You’re in the hospitality business mate, get over it. I wasn’t being rude, just don’t speak Spanish. Poor attitude, he knows who he is.

Clean, unpretentious, with all basic facilities, a good breakfast, in a very pleasant location, with parking nearby, and excellent value for money compared to San Sebastian, where we had considered staying originally . We will definitely consider staying here again on our journeys into Spain.

A small problem with the water which ran too hot for a long time, but the staff were very quick to note the problem and to arrange to fix it.

Great hotel in the centre of a beautiful town. Good sized rooms, big comfortable bed and friendly staff. They have a garage around the corner to store our bikes. Because it’s in the heart of the town, it can’t be helped that the traffic noise starts early. We really enjoyed our stay.

We got a room with an amazing view for one night only... would stay longer if we could. The mattress was very comfortable, room and bathroom good size, and very quiet. Also we had free parking just in front of the hotel. There is breakfast available in the hotel for a good value for money. Staff was really helpful and recommended a very good and pleasant place to eat local food.

Aircon very loud. Wi-Fi kept turning off at night but there was another wifi to use so it wasn’t too bad. Bathroom smelt funny.

The room was big and spacious. It was also clean and had AC (very needed at the time we were there) Bathroom was okay. It was close to everything and all the amenities.

Parking was expensive due to street parking restrictions. However, the lovely lady who worked in reception suggested a cheaper place to park to avoid the excessive fees near the hotel.

Location - easy walking distance to town centre. Tightrope walkers over the River were amazing. Easy checkin and checkout. Great, lockable cycle storage. Comfortable room.

Breakfast was a little disorganised - probably because there were alot of guests and only one member of staff, so there was a delay to replenish food items, cutlery etc
