Staff could not have been more welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The little balcony was a nice bonus. The attached brewery and restaurant were closed the day we stayed. However, the hotel now has a limited evening menu. The stuffed peppers were delicious, and the newly added pizza option was excellent. Breakfast was a cold buffet, with toast available if required. Freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice touch. There is a small vending machine in the foyer for snacks. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Be aware, as with a lot of places in Spain, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Evening meal poor. Only reason we came to this hotel because the restaurant below was top class,. Restaurant was closed and the food offered in the hotel itself was awful. I ordered pork cheeks two arrived on the plate with some gravy nothing else no chips no garnicpsh no salad no vegitables and it was just Luke warm, my partner ordered a sea food spaghetti also Luke warm no taste to it and had to search hard to find any seafood. Eventually found 3 mussels and a shrimp . This was a substitute for sea food carbonara which was no longer available, i

This was a wonderful place to stay to explore the Basque region as well as the surrounding area. We had a very clean room with a balcony and a fantastic Mountain view. The manager and staff were very friendly, pleasant and always providing tips and insights on local travel. We would stay again.

We had a vehicle and had no problem exploring the area from the hotel. Even though there is a local bus available, it’s not ideal without a car.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque area, great value for money with friendly & helpful staff….rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds & nice en-suite space…easy & convenient online check in process….tasty continental breakfast provided in a pleasant dining area off the main reception.

Nothing….but it’s a hotel that is a little bit “off the beaten track” so that realistically, you would need a hired car to reach.

1. Very far from everything,be careful you need a car to everywhere and there is no choice of restaurant. 2. There is no egg in breakfast . 3. No trash bin 🗑️ in the room ,no shampooing in the bath room 4. No fridge in the room 5. You can hear other people in their room quite clearly.

A wonderful family run 2 star hotel. It's fairly new and simply decorated but very comfortable all round and spotlessly clean. Everything seems to have been well thought through. The lovely woman (one of the owners) when we arrived was so friendly and informative. One thing, we found ourselves in the restaurant as we weren't sure where the actual hotel was. The family also run this restaurant and as it was packed for lunch all staff were there but we were quickly shown to the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant which was great. Much meat, cider and wine! Breakfast was served in the hotel dining room was varied and plentiful.

The room was spacious with a nice view. Facilities were a reasonable standard. The price was cheaper than nearer the coast.

Signposting for parking and how to get to the hotel from the parking could be clearer. Once parked it took a bit of time to find the reception, and we changed parking so we didn't have to drag our luggage up the hill or the stairs.

This is a fantastic little hotel. Very modern with really excellent facilities. We stayed there ahead of our ferry crossing from Bilbao. It was a perfect position, just 90 minutes from Bilbao. Plenty of parking space. If you stay, you must try the restaurant next door (and part of the same management). It is a bodega and they have all sorts of wine and cider on draught, and you just help yourself the fixed price of €5.80. The food is very good.

A bit difficult to find, so you have to study the map carefully.

It is very very quiet, breakfast very good. Good views over hills from window/balcony. Parking good, freqent (every 30 minutes), cheap bus service to the centre of Donostia San Sebastian less than 200 yards from hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. There is a super restaurant just below the hotel,

Professional welcoming staff. Upon arrival there was an issue with humidity in the room but correctly handled by the manager. Nice room with balcony and view to the country side. Comfy beds, waterpresure shower good. Wifi good, parking good, breakfast good. Fantastic restaurant next door of same owner as the hotel with a 10% discount.

No international TV channels as BBC, CNN etcetera.
