Cosy and clean hotel. The staff are very attentive to guests and welcoming. Nice breakfast for 6 euros - great value. The location is a bit remote, but only about 15 min drive to the city center.

Although the staff put a lot of efforts into maintaining the property well, you can feel its age. At times there was a smell of mold, but it wasn’t too bad. Also can be a bit noisy sometimes due to aircon or washing machine working, and ventilation from the restaurant. But at night it was all ok, so didn’t disturb the sleep. We kept aircon off at night.

Nice, spacious room. Good air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. The restaurant downstairs is very handy and stays open late. The hotel is just a short walk to the train station which gets you to San Sebastian in just 15 minutes.

We had neighbors who were a little noisy and had a barking dog. I don't think they were being overly loud, but more that the walls are a bit thin.

The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building that was recently renovated. The breakfast area is relatively small, but the breakfast itself was good and (by Spanish standards) plentiful (including fresh orange juice). Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well equipped!

The sound insulation to the upper floors! Unfortunately we had quite noisy neighbors in the upper rooms... The locations could be nicer (at a bigger street), but it was practical not to lose to much time. Everything else was great!

Beautiful building, great location with local cafés and bars only a short walk away. Great sized room with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast is simple but good.

Receptionist accused us of booking two rooms, one through booking.com and one through their own website (2 minutes apart) - which we did not do. Obviously an IT issue but they were adamant that wasnt possible - be careful. Luckily, they did not charge us after some discussion.

Rooms were exceptional - spacious and comfortable. In an industrial area, but with a nice park near grounds. I was passing through so didn't matter. If you get there by Google maps it takes you to the back wall of the building so you don't necessarily know you are there.

See above - for me was fine.- didn't look around the area, but didn't seem to be any shops or attractions in the area. There was a restaurant and bar on site, but didn't use.

We stopped on a trip down to the south of Spain. Good location for the motorway. Spotlessly clean and despite a simple room we had the best sleep in the bed that we had had for years. A stip of garden to walk the dog was welcome

Room was spacious and bathroom was very roomy.

All of the steps to the check in. Although we were shown the lift but it was not available after our return at 2115 Also due to wooden floors in our room you could hear every movement above.

Beautiful building in slightly odd place but handy for rejoining the motorway on to France. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great garden for walking our dog.

Rooms not well sound proofed so disturbed by noisy neighbours…. We may just have been unlucky …

near main routes as were traveling through to southern Spain. near to San Sebastián. stayed previously. very clean, with large unusual rooms with old beams. absolutely welcomed our two well behaved spaniels. great green out front for them to exercise after travelling.

there is nothing to not like

Good location next to n634 that links to the transport network, also besides the very good cafe attached to the hotel, walking distance to the many friendly bars in Usurbil.

Whilst the reception lady was very helpful and friendly, as was the cafe lady with short white hair, there was on 2 occasions another lady in the cafe who was the opposite. On one evening she turned teh lights out 15 minutes before closing time to say we had to close, and on 2 othetr occasions was more interested in talking to friends that serving customers. A pity becaise otherwise the other staff were great, so fortuntaely we only had to see her a couple of times.
