We were across the road from the main hotel but that was not a problem. The breakfast was excellent.

This may not be of concern to lots of people, but the bathroom is basically beside the bed and has a opaque glass door, so if you are easily embarrassed or dislike toilet noises do not book these rooms.

The hotel fully met our expectations – everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and equipped with every possible amenity. The staff were attentive and helpful. As a hotel, it definitely deserves a score of 10. However, during all three days of our stay, unbearable construction work and drilling started at 7 AM, shaking our room. This was the only downside. I understand that renovations are not frequent, but I believe that such a beautiful hotel should avoid this, or at least schedule it from 9 or 10 AM instead.

Construction work and drilling.

The hotel is easily accessible, offers nice rooms, and has very kind staff. It was only 10-15 minutes to the city centre, where most tourist attractions can be found. The restaurants nearby, however, are mostly Asian; for Spanish restaurants, you have to walk about 20-30 minutes away.

The room I booked had been priced at 121 for two people. We booked via booking.com and got a 9 euro discount. On arrival, we were asked to pay 10 additional euros to take it back to 121. This was weird, though. Although they advertised for SPA, which is one of the reasons we settled for it, these services were not listed on the services card.

The room was really clean and had everything you needed. The hotel provided us with toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shaver etc. The location is great, we were close to the city, many cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, metro etc. Staff was friendly.

Some downsides: Location: Close to the hotel entrance, it smelled terrible and there was pee everywhere.. But you can avoid it by walking on the other streetside. Many homeless people around the hotel as well, they don't bother anyone though. The food provided by the hotel was bad. We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad. The pizza was a frozen pizza that was burned to a crisp. (~11€ per Pizza). Do yourself a favor and order from glovo or so. There is also a supermarket nearby and restaurants that are opened until late at night.

Hotel was nice and clean, and at a great location. The room was a great size and the bed was amazing. It also had very nice windows that blocked out the street noise, a must for a central hotel. The check in and check out was easy and fast and the staff was very helpful. Air con was great, and got the room super cold in no time! Mini bar was well stocked and room service was fast and delicious.

The bathroom fan didn't work so it was very humid and wet after showering, and there's poor noise insulation from the other rooms and floors, so I could hear next other rooms showering and also coughing throughout the night. I am a light sleeper though, so just something to note. Also, smokers would stand below our window so we couldn't open it without getting that awful smell in. This might not be an issue if you're higher up, but on the first floor it was very smelly.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Conqueridor in Valencia! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. We had originally booked a standard double room, but to our surprise, they upgraded us to a suite — such a lovely gesture that made our stay even more special. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and everything was just perfect. The location is great for exploring the city, and the atmosphere is both comfortable and relaxing. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The two rooms we had were excellent , and the buffet breakfast had a great selection and ran through until 11 am which was very convenient.

The hotel advertised a happy hour with drinks for a period of time in the evening. We sat in the bar area for over 20 minutes and were not asked if we wanted a drink so we left. This was the only area of the service which was disappointing. If the hotel advertises a bar area then it needs to ensure that it is managed properly and staff are there to take orders etc.

We enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel. The location is a leisurely walk to the main attractions in the Old Town and a couple of supermarkets. We found the side street the hotel is on quietened down well at night. The rooms were bright and modern and the main room had plenty of storage and flat spaces. The two king single beds were larger than normal and super comfortable. It was lovely to have a window you could leave open.

A couple of small changes would enhance the experience. While there was lots of storage and flat space in the main room, you didn't have anywhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. A shelf under the vanity would be helpful. A mirror, preferably full length, in the main room would also be great. The cleaner used a very strong fragrance either in the room or on the pillow, which was overpowering.

1) Location: 5 minutes from the main train station and Xativa metro and 3 minutes to another metro line. 3 minute walk to multiple bus stops. 3-5 minutes walk from 2 different bakeries and 2 different supermarkets. 10-15 minutes' walk to many of the main attractions in the old town, and walking around Valencia is easy. Lots of restaurants nearby. Orange and Vodafone shops within a 7 minute walk. The Central Market is also within 6-8 minute walk. The hotel was on a reasonably quiet side street just moments away from the busy parts so you walked out onto calmness rather than cars and buses whizzing by. 2) Quiet: I asked for a quiet room not overlooking traffic/roads and I got it, so I could sleep OK at night. 3) Room: Spacious & clean. I had two single beds in my room but they were very wide single beds stuck together. Pillows were long and firm and fitted the whole width of the bed. Plenty of blankets. Huge windows so lots of light. Blackout curtains (with no gap in between as they overlapped!) for a comfortable sleep. Hygiene-wise, there were very few surfaces or drawer handles which I liked ... however, there was still ample bedside table space and closet space, just without doors/drawers. 4) Because of the above, I found it to be good value for money.

1) Only one rather small, flimsy plastic chair in the room, which is unusual. I assume the choice of plastic was for hygiene and easy cleaning, which I understand, but perhaps (a) a second chair and (b) sturdier, larger design would be good. 2) Breakfast room was a bit cramped with tables set centimetres away from each other. 3) Hotel room doors: If only hoteliers and engineers would get together to design self-closing doors that close quietly and not bang, travel would be so much calmer :-)
