We had a room with a terrace, and it was incredible—the view overlooking the city and Plaza del Ayuntamiento was breathtaking, especially in the evening. The terrace added an extra level of luxury, providing a peaceful spot to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful city. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Valencia, making it easy to walk to many of the city’s top attractions, restaurants, and shops. Public transport was also conveniently close by, making it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. If you’re visiting Valencia and looking for a room with both comfort and an unbeatable view, Melia Plaza is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough!

We chose the hotel primarily for its location and we had a lovely two night stay at the end of our holiday in Denia. The hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff were welcoming. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment but there were a variety of bars cafes and restaurants all around us.

The price was high for days in mid October but we knew that before the stay - next time I would have preferred to have a room with a bigger balcony but overall no complaints.

No door on bathroom or toilet

The Location is perfect. Close to all attractions and public transport. Lobby decorations were from Alladin theme. Roof top pool is great. Service in the pool is also nice.

There is no sound isolation between the room. We can hear every move and every step of our neighbors. Gym is tiny and poorly equipped. Elevators are very slow. There is no coffeemaker in the room. But location bit all the minuses.

Excellent location. You can reach old city in easy way. There are many bus stops. The hotel is close to the shopping area.

I don't like the breakfast room. There is not enough space. We have to wait for free table. The staff in the breakfast room are not friendly. When a product runs out, it is not refilled in a timely manner. Something is constantly missing. There are not enough tea cups. You have to ask for it to get it. The room faced walls which was depressing. This was not noted in the room description previously.

Fantastic location. Spotlessly clean room. I asked for, and was allocated a quiet, exceptionally spacious room with AC (8th floor) which had no view but that was the tradeoff which I gladly accepted. The room layout ensured a good nights sleep as bedroom section was set back from the main corridor and behind a separate door. Did not need to interact much with staff but they were friendly in passing. Could not always access the rooftop even when it was supposedly open. Overall a very enjoyable, comfortable stay in Melia Plaza. Reasonable value for money in heart of a beautiful city. Would gladly return.

Perfect location. Easy to walk to many restaurants, sightseeing spots, and stores. Easy to catch public transportation. Lots going on at all hours in the area, but not too loud to sleep. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the staff was excellent, and the neighborhood is spectacular.

Great hotel in excellent location right in the centre of Valencia. Just 10 mins walk from Estacio Nord as well as Xatavia metro station which means travel to/from the airport is simple. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They could not do enough to help. Thank you MELIA PLAZA

The unseasonal rain

Great Location!

Hotel WIFI was completely unreliable, we connected to a secondary source that worked mildly better, but connection was still completely unusable for work within the room. Smart TV applications also did not work. All this would have been fine if the male attendee at the front desk hadn't been rude when we asked for help. His advice was "yeah the TV doesn't work;" "wifi does that, try reconnecting;" and "that's not something I can fix."

Superb location facing Pl. de l'Ajuntament with walking access to all transport modes. Very helpful introduction by Mr Pablo who graciously gave some very good recommendations on local restaurants.

A few teething problems with an incorrectly stocked mini bar and the room safe did not worked requiring a next day repair, otherwise all ok.
