Great location. Elevator to the 5th floor. Clean. Staff communicated well re: after-hours arrival.

The WiFi was slow and the encryption very outdated. A simple fix. The fan in the shared toilet in the corridor was very loud. Sadly it shared a wall with my room. Limited electric outlets in the room, but the hotel (or a previous guest) provided a power strip.

EXTREMELY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY STAFF!!! AMAZING UNBEATABLE LOCATION!!! There are restaurants and bars and cafes everywhere as it’s in the middle of the old town. 20 min to airport (17€ by uber) I’m rating based on VALUE FOR MONEY. It is extremely affordable! Price for 1 week is like others for 2 nights in that area. Accordingly the building and facilities are old and not high end (obviously as it is a hostel). The rooms get cleaned EVERY DAY incl fresh towels. Fresh sheets once a week. Extra blankets in the room. The staff is super friendly. You get to leave your luggage there after check out till 7 pm which was very convenient as my flight back was at 9 pm. There is a small lift so you don’t have to carry your luggage. Temperature was ok and cool as it is in between buildings and therefore not directly exposed to sun light. Very practical to have your own shower and sink in the room. Shampoo, Hand Soap and Shower gel are provided. Hot water regulation and water pressure were good too.

Didn’t bother me personally but maybe interesting for others: Please note that it’s an old building in the middle of the city center so it’s NOT quiet. But I expected that due to its location and didn’t have an issue. You get your own key and can come and go as you please which means some people might be getting back late which you could hear. (Again no issue for me personally ☺️) Toilet is shared but that’s ok, it was always available and clean. Soap and paper were always filled. No iron available.

A great spot hidden in the middle of the old city. The location couldn't be better (close to the old city, restaurants, shopping, park and all public transport options including main train station and airport transfer) and the room was larger than expected with a balcony, shower and a lot of floor space. Also, everyone working there was lovely and willing to give recommendations, help with transport and store my luggage after checkout.

There was no air conditioning in the room which was challenging in 35+ degrees. A fan was provided but still hot overnight.

The location is insanely good, right next to the main square in the heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance, so if you are looking for a base from where you can explore the city, this is it. The shower in the room was a massive plus, making the heat more bearable.

Due to the central location, people on the streets were often very loud, and the room had no AC (just a fan), so the comfort was not the greatest. Also, getting more than one key for the main door would be great because there is no reception after 11 and this means people can't split up. Another problem was that our room got cleaned and even the bedsheets were swapped without our consent or any way to refuse it. The effort is appreciated but we'd rather have our stuff undisturbed. Also the towels were a bit smelly.

Great accommodation and location! Place is central and it is comfortable to move around the city. Very quiet and the shared facilities were clean. The shower in the room was a massive plus. Instructions were clear to enter , the room had everything we needed , everywhere was clean and smelled lovely and fresh and even though we only spent two nights there , we had our beds made and room tidied by the cleaners the first day which was very unexpected but a great service . Shower was powerful and hot as you wanted and there was shampoo and conditioner. We weren’t expecting such a good service for a one star pension. Lovely area very central and safe. Communication brilliant - didn’t see any staff as checked in late but we didn’t need to

Excellent location - right in the heart of Valencia’s historic center, just steps from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the Valencia Nord train/metro station, and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Very warm and helpful staff. Early check-ins, luggage storage, and personalized assistance. The guy at the reception desk sincerely tried to understand our problems and help us and he succeeded - I am very grateful to him for that!

Beds are basic and not always very comfortable. There is no air conditioning — only a fan, which can be challenging during the hot summer months.

I had a wonderful experience at pension Moratín. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. I couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The shower it was incredibly small, and the shower head wouldn’t stay in place on the clip. This meant I had to hold it while washing, as leaving it on the clip would spray water over the shower curtain and onto the bedroom floor. Apart from that, the hotel was great, but the shower setup could definitely use some improvement.

The room was exactly as advertised - - no oversights, no unpleasant surprises - spotlessly clean - recently painted - ensuite bathroom with up to date plumbing & good water pressure - elevator - daily housekeeping with fresh linens - attentive and communicative staff - perfect location smack in the heart of old Valencia - not too noisy - a big fan which was essential - simple but thoughtful decorations - and 24 HOUR CHECK-IN which was essential!!!

Air conditioning would have been nice, but the low price was nicer, and we were advised in advance about this. The fan kept us comfortable enough..

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating - they allowed us to store our luggage with them before the actual check-in as we arrived earlier than the check-in time. We also used the toilet at that time. Both hosts we met during our stay spoke very good English, so communication was a breeze. The room itself was very large and quiet despite the central location of the property. Smack in the middle of the city. Absolutely fantastic location and easy to get to via metro from the airport (metro station Xativa). Easy to get to attractions as well (Biopark, City of Arts and Sciences).
