Everything was excellent. The location, the staff, the rooms. We had a very large room with kettle, coffee pod machine, safe, fridge, microwave. The bathroom was spotless with a brilliant shower. The hairdryer was powerful. The small balcony was a cute little extra. The ground floor bar was a good place for us all to meet up before going out for the night. Every member of staff was very helpful and professional. I can't find a fault with this hotel.

We liked everything about the hotel.

The hotel is 5 minute walk from Xavier Metro stop, line 3 & 5. The staff were very pleasant, polite and professional. I had an issue that the staff followed up immediately and let me know the outcome very quickly. The deluxe room was newly decorated and there was a small balcony where you could enjoy the sunshine, the atmosphere and the comings and goings in the Plaza below. The sound from the fountain in the square was beautiful. The room had tea/coffee facilities and a mini fridge. There was breakfast available but I didn’t sample that. It looked very nice and good to have the option if needed. The hotel was spotlessly clean. It married old style structure with modern facilities excellently. The location was fantastic. It was very close to everything. It was great to wander the streets and still be so close when returning from exploring the city. It is convenient to metro and buses, lots of attractions and eateries. I would highly recommend the property for anybody planning a trip to Valencia.

There was some renovation work taking place but to be fair it was being carried out in the least obstructive way.

Room was super clean, bright and comfortable. The location was awesome. So walk-able so so many desired locations but also super convenient for public transportation and taxis. Plus tons for nice restaurants and convenience items right outside the door. Also, while we were in Valencia our 5 year old son got very sick and had to spend 5 nights in the hospital. It was very scary especially as we have been traveling abroad. The staff could not have been more kind, understanding and helpful. We will never forget that and will be forever grateful. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel toward the entire hotel and it's staff. We hope we can return to Valencia again some day and there is absolutely no other place we would stay.

Breakfast is very good (a lot of choice and fresh food, good taste), for 9,50 euro for person. Staff is very kind and always available for every request. The position is ideal, because at walking distance from everywhere in the centre of the town (main attractions, restaurants, metro, etc.). The room is nice and clean

Bathroom is very small. The insonorization within rooms is very poor (it is not so efficient)

The hotel has a perfect location—it’s within walking distance of all the main historical landmarks in Valencia, so there’s no need for a car or public transport at all, which is a huge plus. However, the hotel has a very strong and strange smell throughout the building, which can be quite unpleasant at first. If you’re staying for several days, you may get used to it, but it’s definitely one of the biggest downsides. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff is very dedicated. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the cleaning staff is friendly and polite. I didn’t have much contact with other hotel staff, as there seemed to be very few around. One of the disappointments was the empty minibar/fridge—it would have been nice to have at least some basic refreshments. Also, there is no coffee machine in the room, which I missed. All in all, I would say the hotel deserves a good rating mainly because of its excellent location and the small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view, especially if the weather is nice.

Location fantastic. Our room was perfect for the two of us. 5th floor room 502. Comfy bed, comfy pillows, blackout curtains excellent, powerful shower, staff very polite on reception, fresh towels every day. Very clean. The Maids do a fantastic job. Everything was perfect about our stay. Would recommend and will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Valencia!

The location was fantastic, and the staff welcomed us warmly during check-in. There were plenty of great dining options within walking distance, and getting a taxi was quick and convenient whenever we needed one. We also made use of the hotel's laundry service, which was highly affordable, and we were very satisfied with the results.

The Wi-Fi was completely unreliable, and no one in my travel group could connect or maintain a stable connection. We were left without internet access throughout our stay. Additionally, we observed that several other guests were experiencing similar issues, which only added to the collective frustration. Another inconvenience was the single small working elevator, with a maximum capacity of four people. This was particularly frustrating for us, as we were staying on one of the higher floors.

Location was excellent. Our trip from the UK went: airport->Metro->straight line walk->hotel lobby. Once you're at the hotel you're pretty much on the doorstep of everything. A (really enjoyable) five or ten minute walk to the North are the Mercat Central and the Catedral de Valencia. Another fiver or ten from there and you're at the famous Saranos Towers and on to the Jardi del Turia. The staff at this hotel were amazing. Equally happy to converse with you in (very good) English, or to humour your attempts at (very bad) Spanish. At one point I misplaced my phone sometime around breakfast time. Me being me, I'd just forgotten that I'd left it in our room, but before I'd figured that out the reception staff had already bent over backwards to help me find it, checking CCTV footage and speaking with other staff members to help me track it down. If anybody's worried about how rowdy it might get staying right in the centre like this, I can only say that in our experience it was anything but. It was nothing like what a night in the centre of our own city (Manchester, England) would be like. The area outside the hotel is pedestrianised so traffic noise isn't an issue, and the only other sounds we could hear were from musicians or general restaurant chatter. This seemed to stop by around 11pm.

As mentioned, you could hear some noise in our room from the restaurant outside and from performing musicians. These did stop before midnight each night though (I think sometime around 11). Purely subjective, but the bed was a bit too soft for my wife and I. Every time I moved the whole thing wobbled and it disturbed her a bit. Not a deal breaker and we did get used to it in the end. If you like a soft bed it may not be an issue.

Perfect location with the hotel being in the Centre of town with a short, easy walk from Valencia Nord train station and a longer, easy walk to Valencia Joaquin Sorolla train stations, both of which we used. The hotel has the period feel for the age of the property but with modern day comfort. The reception staff were most welcoming and spoke English which was a relief as my Spanish is pretty poor. We were allocated a wonderful room with twin beds as requested, most important as I was travelling with my son. There was a small balcony with seating overlooking a pleasant side street with a couple of restaurants, and a side view of the fountain. The hotel was very well maintained, the rooms clean, bed linen lovely and good sized comfortable beds. There was also a fridge, kettle and microwave in the room. The internet was free and provided a secure connection which was not the case in ALL of the other hotels we stayed in during our trip. What worked well for us were the large lockers where you could store luggage if needed with a seating area nearby if wanted. A lot of thought has gone into the clients' needs and this was certainly appreciated by us.

Perfect location and great view from the room windows. Extremaly clean room, bathroom and hotel at all. It is one of the best places to stay in the historic center - everything is on walking distance. Personal is helpful, respectful and polite. Good breakfast.
