Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable bed. We were able to walk into Salamanca in 40 minutes on a very safe footpath. Nice friendly coffee shop on site. Menu of the day, which we had in the evening, was excellent value, inclusive of 3 courses, beer/wine, water and bread for €17. The food was lovely Excellent location for travelling from north to south. More comfortable and better food here than we had in an expensive parador the previous night.

After such a good evening meal, we were disappointed with the breakfast. The hot food was not covered !! Very poor selection of prepared fruit . Yoghurt was cheap and poor quality. No fresh milk.

The first time we stayed here was unplanned. We had booked to stay elsewhere but found there was to be a musical performance right in front of the hotel that night, The size of the speakers being installed suggested that a good night's sleep would be out of the question, so we moved on and found the Helmantico. Since then we have stayed here several times on our way south, It is very conveniently located near the motorway, the rooms are comfortable, the water is hot, the staff are helpful - what's not to like?

The hotel is just a few minutes off the main highway system so good for traveling especially north or south for travelling to and from France and Spain. It isn't exactly the prettiest location but very convenient. The price was excellent at £49.00 for the night. Thank you to the reception staff for being so helpful when I arrived exhausted from Estepona some 780km away.

Direct location not pretty but very convenient for north / south travel. Relatively easy access for local Repsol garage - unless you take the wrong direction to return to the road - I was fined 100 euros for turning left when apparently I should have turned right then down to a turning to come back. The Garda Ci.vil were very polite and helpful despite the situation - thanks

Best Shower in the room I think I have ever had in a hotel. Great air conditioning and overall room comfort. Staff were excellent. location just right for our onward journey. Great value for money evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast good but could be improved with better hot offerings.

Very helpful receptionist called Alayandro who assisted us, my wife had a broken ankle and he helped us to our room and also ordered & delivered our evening meal from the adjacent cafeteria. The food was good & excellent value for money. Room was spotless & comfortable.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room. No plug in bathroom sink.

Very much off the 'tourist track', and out of town. Tbh, as a lone traveller on the Autovia, it was perfectly placed. The room was comfortable, reception staff friendly and the breakfast good. The decor and facilities were a bit 70's, but once the lights were out, I slept well, which was the aim. BAthroom facilities excellent.

Clean, comfortable and very good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was surprisingly spacious for the cost. An honest, not pretentious, pleasant hotel which makes it an excellent overnight stopover adjacent to the motorway network. Easy to find after many hours of driving.

Our room's window appeared to be sealed shut with the shutters closed from the outside, meaning no view or natural light.

Good Hotel with safe parking (€5,00/ day). Good rooms with heating. Wi fi works well. The staff is very very nice. I asked for Gluten-free and lactose-free products for my breakfast and the hotel gave me everything! The hotel is very close to the A62 highway. There is no problem with sound. We had dinner at the hotel and it was nice. So, do not hesitate to stay in this hotel.

The location suited us well on our drive from Santander to Portugal. We have stayed here once before so we knew exactly what to expect. The hotel is very good, and in particular the cafeteria attached to the main building provides excellent dinners at a very reasonable price. There is adequate parkingat the frontwhich was important for us.

The staff, everyone was very charming and professional. They seemed most sincere whenever they showed interest in how my stay was unwinding. Impeccable manners.

The parking area was pretty packed at times, so it was difficult to find a parking spot. I would suggest reserving a few spots exclusively for hotel guests, or else allow guests to park in the hotel’s walled area for free whenever parking outside becomes challenging.
