We recently spent a few days at the villa, and overall, the impressions were positive. The villa is located in a quiet area, creating a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation. The villa's grounds were well-maintained, clean, and charming. We were particularly pleased with the availability of free sunbeds, mattresses, and towels, making beach time incredibly comfortable. The presence of a small restaurant on the premises, where dishes are prepared by a professional team of chefs, was also a delightful surprise. Delicious food is an essential aspect of a fulfilling vacation. The room we stayed in, situated on the second floor, was spacious and cozy. The interior met hotel standards with a wardrobe, luggage shelf, mirror, bedside tables, and ample lighting. The large balcony with a view of the pool and the sea was especially enjoyable, adding an extra layer of coziness. It's worth mentioning the responsive staff, who make an effort to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was also of a high standard – diverse and hearty, providing options to suit various tastes.

What an amazing place, we spent two nights here at the end of a two week trip around Sri Lanka as it’s only 90 mins from the airport and we wanted a bit more peace than Colombo or Negombo offer. The staff are super friendly, super attentive. The groundskeepers who also do towels for the sun beds would see you coming and get everything ready for you. They also keep the grounds pristine! The bar/restaurant staff were incredible as well, super quick with drinks of which there’s a good list of cocktails. The food was really good as well (get the devilled calamari and the devilled cashews) The room was pristine and the view from the balcony was great (aircon also works well) there’s also beers in the mini fridge at the same cost as the bar. Jaba was great as well, he’s the Tuk Tuk driver for the hotel and took us to a couple different restaurants (try the White Tree) as well as taking us to a cash point and also dropping off money to the turtle sanctuary as well forgot to bring cash out with us. All in all I can’t imagine a better way to spend the last 48 hours of our trip

Amazing place , sea facing rooms, beach access, "infinity " pool, sumptuous delicious food, very attentive and courteous staff-- we had an amazing experience-- the most relaxing part of the holiday. They have arrangements with tuk tuk drivers, to go around for river safari and local sightseeing too.

We did our booking online through booking.com and our package was all inclusive( 1 adult and 2 kids for a double room- BF and dinner included). But the staff at the reception tried to get us to pay extra for bed/ breakfast and dinner for my son. I had to show them the booking confirmation details until they backed off.

Everything about this place is stunning - we loved to stay here. Perfect room, spotless & spacious. Super friendly & helpful staff, went out of their way to help and support. Super nice to kids! Wonderful restaurant with big choice and good quality. Best of all: amazing garden, so well maintained. Beautiful beach!!

There is a guy who tries to sell tours to high prices. He also gives advice which is completely wrong (no restaurants in direction xy - we didn't listen and had the very best dinner of our 3 weeks holiday just about 100m from the hotel in the direction where no restaurants are... ) - just to sell his taxi service. Very annoying. Therefore only 9 out of 10...

Very nice hotel by the beach, room was spacious and facing the sea, you can hear the sound of the waves into your room. Comfortable beds and the facilities were clean and in good condition. Breakfast was bit simple, but also good, and had plenty to eat. We ate several times at the restaurant, and food was very tasty and there were plenty of choices at the menu. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Even though the hotel is small, there were always sunbeds available. This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka.

If you a light sleeper, you may hear some noise from the street (in front of hotel), as well as trains passing by, since there is a railway close by. I am a light sleeper, and this wasn't a big issue to us, since the sound of the waves and air conditioning mostly covers the noises, and at night time the traffic quiets down a lot. There are no proper supermarkets close by, but you can find very large supermarkets in Ahungalla with a tuk tuk ride. There is a 'tuk tuk station' close by. Also hotel owners brother is very anxious to offering his tuk tuk and other services, something even too anxious.

Amazing location, great staff, really clean

Everything was AMAZING, from the minute I stepped out the tuktuk. Wonderful greeting by the staff. Its a beautiful hotel, wonderful location and very very clean, with great facilities. I was alone for my 2 day stay and felt totally safe all the time. Staff are attentive and also always cleaning, sweeping etc Food was amazing, which also meant I didn't have to go far other than a walk on the beach. Had a wonderful massage treatment too. I was picked up extremely early for my flight home, and they arrange a member of staff to ensure I was ok, and sent me off with a packed breakfast. best end to a Sri Lanka trip

That I couldn't stay longer!

We thoroughly recommend Sea Rock Villa to all families. Nothing family-related was too much trouble for the staff: Washing bottles and providing milk for our 1 year old. It was even our daughter's 7th birthday while we were staying and the manager Jaika organised us a cake and even helped set up a traditional Sri Lankan party game for us. The hotel has a lovely, kid friendly setting. We felt like royalty during our stay.

Hard to find things. The beach immediately in front of the hotel is too dangerous for small children. The quality of the pool more than makes up for that though.

This is the most amazing place to stay. The staff are attentive & so friendly & pleasant. Only spent two night here, wished we’d booked longer & would definitely return. We had the most amazing view overlooking the pool & sea. The room was stunning. Huge comfortable bed with extra pillows & lots of plugs around. Tea & coffee making facilities. Comfortable chairs in the room & on the balcony. Shower area lovely with lots of extras. Air con & fan great. The food was absolutely delicious. All meals were lovely. We had English breakfast but you could order a Sri Lankan breakfast the night before. Lunch a la carte. As we were half board, we had to order our evening meal at lunchtime. You got soup then a choice of two main courses & two deserts. All the food was great. Beach beds comfy & the pool man was very attentive & helped you. Beach fabulous & pool refreshing. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach stay.

Would have liked more choice for the hag board evening meal. Hand towels would be great.
