On the Beach, breakfast, restaurant, staff, pool all good. On the outskirts of the town, remote...need to take a TukTuk to go shopping, but uncrowded beaches.

We booked a double room, which was very nice. However, the double rooms are in the back, away from the beach and next to the highway and railroad tracks, which is extremely noisy. We asked for a room change, but the hotel was full. Also, it rained and water was dripping from the ceiling onto the bed. Fortunately, we had a spare bed and could relocate. Be forewarned. Other than that, a nice hotel.

We are generally satisfied with the hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom are clean and there is plenty of storage space. The food is good but nothing special. Guests from other hotels also eat here, so it is advisable to book a table. As in many resorts, some guests claim the sun beds early in the morning by putting towels on them and returning to bed. Unfortunately, the hotel has little control over this practice.

The hotel's section of beach is cleaned up in line with neighbouring properties, but there is definitely room for improvement. All sorts of washed up debris, including plastic waste, is raked into a hole every morning and covered with sand - a method that could be reconsidered for better environmental impact.

The location was just stunning , restaurant food was delicious every meal was so tasty, the cheese burger 10/10 we had a 2 night stay there and enjoyed every minute of it , the pool was lovely clean and cool , on second night owner Janus came to sit with us they were celebrating New Year we had such a great night , drinks were flowing and cocktails were fabulous especially Janus own signature cocktail , he played music on our table , great night was had , thank you so much we will definitely e going back we visit Sri Lanka every year

The location is great, right by the beach with sun beds for all guests. The beach is beautiful and less crowded. The staff was very kind and helpful. Both the Sri Lankan and the Continental breakfast were really good!

We had a bit bad luck with our room with the only window right into the entry hall. So we had the curtains closed all the time. But also no need to spend time in the room in this nice property right by the beach.

We loved the location of the hotel. This hotel was our last four days in Sri Lanka and we wanted to relax on the beach so the hotel was perfect. We did not leave the hotel as the food and drink were all lovely with lots of choice and great prices for a hotel on the beach. Last but not least a thank you to the amazing staff, it is small hotel so we knew them all. They made our stay even better. They work so hard to make you feel welcome they are a credit to the hotel.

Very nice Beach, good swimming and walking. Not many people arround. Room was nice and OK with all you need. AC and Fan very good and important. If Shower/Shampo/Hairdryer is needed ask for it. Breakfast is very, very good and you can eat as much as you like, also excellent service. Staff is fantastic and takes care of you all the time. The food (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) is just great and fantastic. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you. You can ask for Beachtowels, they will give them to you for free.

In the Bathroom is only Soap available and no Hairdryer. Would be nice to have more sunbeds and Umbrellars against the sun.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A wonderful homely stay for 4 nights, it is certainly located in Paradise! Immaculately clean throughout, room and all public areas, staff constantly ensuring standards throughout the day. The local breakfast is awesome, quality and quantity, the Western style is basic but of a high standard. Food for lunch and dinner was so good we had no desire to try anywhere else. Late afternoon a display of fresh fish, crabs, prawns and lobster is put on display for you to choose what you want, we tried everything in 4 days, cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. On our last night the restaurant was full so Janu arranged our own table literally at the waters edge, and entertained us with drinks and his company after our meal. A very proud man and rightly so of the business he has established, and with a lot of repeat western customers speaks volumes for how good it is.

A slight issue with road noise in the room during the day, but you don't come here to sit in your room! Night time is no problem, there is no road noise at the beach, but this is an issue with a lot of resorts throughout the country.

Accommodation was good. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Nice beach with big waves. Unfortunately, it was not a good choice of location for swimming at this time. Excellent and tasty food! The service in the restaurant is pleasant and the chef cooks excellently!

During the storm, water ran into our room, but the staff responded and mopped up the water. Breakfast could have been more varied - eggs three ways every day. There was a black flag for swimming at the time of our stay.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to help. The food was amazing, with beautiful sea view from the restaurant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Often had the pool to ourselves.

Intermittent WiFi and hot water. A short, slightly tricky walk to get to where we could walk on the beach as sea came right up to hotel at the time we visited.
