The hotel is a short walk from the wonderful beach where you can sit with a drink and enjoy the sea Good food in the restaurant with very friendly staff and can watch the trains rumble through the hotel grounds

The bathroom could have been of a higher standard and cleaner

The location is perfect, almost at the beach, the rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was really helpful and the food was great. They made us non spicy versions of everything, too.. they even let us stay in our room until 9 p.m. when we had a ride back

We were the only guests at the time, out of season, so they didn't bother to clean the beach. The train runs next to the hotel and we didn't see that written anywhere when we booked the room. My ear plugs helped me very much. Last two days there was a guy at the reception who didn't know the word in English. He didn't even understand our request to call someone that does.

Very scenic, surrounded by jungle. Nice clean beach and food and drink huts there.

Very quiet evenings for solo travelers.

The hotel is right beside the beach and sun loungers, parasols and towels are available. There is a decent pool. The food selection was good - we had half board and there was plenty of variety. We enjoyed the sight of the trains passing as we were eating. The railway line runs through the hotel gardens, but this is not too intrusive - there are not many trains, especially during the night. The staff are great - very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The tours we took from the hotel were very interesting and enjoyable.

The plumbing - especially the shower water pressure which was low. A minor issue. We would have preferred to seek out drivers and tour organisers rather than be approached all the time. Having said that, the service we got was good on the tours we chose.

Lovely natural surroundings with reception area with the best WIFI connection, 20m pool area, large restaurant and dining area with a lovely view of the beach in the distance with a spectacular view of the train track passing right in front of the restaurant. Well equipped comfortable, clean rooms with great AC and ceiling fans with balcony and hot water. Can’t go wrong with the lovely Sri Lankan staff to facilitate anything you need. Very quiet spot right on Bentota Beach with a long beach. You also have cushions and towels available on the beach loungers where you can also order drinks and food from the beach. If you want surfing or paramotrgliding it’s not far either, or of course the hotel can arrange a tuk-tuk for you to check out the local spots around town.

A very homely family hotel well located just 100m to the beach. Great dining room in a 1st floor restaurant surrounded by an ornate timber balustrade and vaulted ceiling. Excellent choice of food and drinks all at reasonable prices served by exceptional staff. Great breakfast. The train line passed between the restaurant and beach which provided an exciting and enjoyable experience each time it occurred.

There was a temporary Wi-Fi glitch but this was quickly rectified.

Beach and the location is excellent, walking distance to shops and lots of restaurants. Our room/bathroom/balcony was spacious and pristine clean.

There's nothing I could say. Staff were at our beck and call.

Lovely traditional building with direct access to a private section of the beach and a good swimming pool.

Trains rattling through the gardens, although at times it was quite amusing to see the express from Colombo to Galle flashing past the restaurant.

Excellent location with very attentive, helpful and pleasant staff. Rooms are large and kept clean and the staff do everything they can to help guests and make the stay a happy and memorable experience.

The WiFi connection can be weak and only operates in the hotel lobby or the room balcony.

Cute little family hotel, Staff is friendly and nice, food in cafe is pretty good. Beach is great, prices are faire enough i think.

WiFi was available only near the reception and in general place needs renovation, but still cozy.
