During my recent stay at this hotel, I found some aspects to be satisfactory, while others left much to be desired. One notable positive was the hotel's convenient location in Colombo, making it easy to access downtown and explore the city's attractions. My stay at this hotel was delightful. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked properly, which was appreciated considering the hot weather in Colombo. The exceptional breakfast, convenient location, and cleanliness of the room and bathrooms left me with a positive impression. If you're looking for a well-located and reasonably comfortable place to stay in Colombo, I can confidently recommend this hotel for your visit.

The hotel could improve the overall experience by ensuring that all essential toiletries are provided in the room. This simple addition would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction.

Breakfast was good, English breakfast as expected. From 8 to 10 in the morning. Staff is too good, friendly, they will do anything to make you comfortable. Clock Inn Colombo is a 2-star hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Situated close to the Galle waterfront, this budget accommodation is ideal for those who want to visit Colombo without breaking the bank. The rooms in the property are affordable yet comfortable. Although the rooms are not too big, there is enough space to keep your stuff. The rooms come with a TV, air conditioning and a small wardrobe. The breakfast is quite basic but palatable.  Ruwan, the floor manager, is a cheerful and helpful chap. He tries to comply with the guests' requests to the best of his ability.

Locating Clock Inn Colombo may be a little difficult for first-timers because although the outside of the building does display the name, the entrance is through a small door with no signage! One negative point in the rooms is that the toiletries provided are in glass bottles. One has to be cautious when handling them with wet hands, lest they slip down and break! A small improvement that would add to the guests' convenience will be the addition of a small shelf within the shower cubicle for placing the shampoo and body wash bottles. Guests should be aware that as the property is on the first, second and third floors, and accessible only by stairs, it may not be suitable for guests with certain disabilities.

Exceptional service from the front office team, they were courteous, efficient, and welcoming. The rooms were immaculately clean, with well-kept shower facilities that added to the comfort of my stay, even though slightly noisy and small issues about the duplicate payment but A truly pleasant experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for quality accommodation.

The breakfast management could be improved. Cleaners rooms mostly opened and visible always, Aside from that, everything else was great.

The bedding and pillow were clean and comfortable. The room had a pleasant odor—or no odor at all. The air conditioning took some time to start working but functioned well later on. They also provided a locker for storing bags inside the room. The included breakfast was more than adequate and offered a good variety. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly as well.

The toilets were not very clean, and the walls and doors had mold. Additionally, the cubicles were small and cramped, leaving little room to turn around. Some of the showerheads in the shower cubicles were not working properly. Also, it would be helpful if the staff were more proficient in English (or Sinhala), as there were occasional communication difficulties.

Location is perfect, bus stop in front of the hostel. Hot water, tea and a water dispenser on the really nice terrace for free. We used that and enjoyed the community area a lot. We had an issue with our booking (not the hostels fault) and the owner found a perfect solution. Still greatful for that and so we had 2 good nights there. You can hear the street at night, but staying in a hostel means anyway having earplugs in your luggage.

Breakfast was good, some fresh fruit and choice of eggs, plus juice and tea and coffee. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which include a large locker with padlock. Rooms had A/c and on most of day when in use. TV lounge and lounge on 1st Level had many types of seating to relax or play games if not watching TV. Staff where very helpful and always asking if I needed anything. Will stay again when back In Colombo.

The size of the room and the facilities in general. The location was ideally situated, with a small tuk stand nearby in case of emergencies. Safe premises, especially during night times. Most staff members working here were well-accommodating.

The breakfast variety was lackluster, and the utensils and dishes provided were not clean. Some staff members had a biased treatment toward locals (in comparison to foreigners), which was rather disappointing.
