I had a wonderful stay at Palmyrah Residencies Colombo with my mom. The location is excellent—easy to reach and very convenient. The place is calm and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchen and dining area, which was very useful. We also appreciated the unlimited filtered water they provided. The property felt very safe, which added to our peace of mind. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo!

Suggestion for Improvement: Our stay at Palmyrah Residencies was wonderful, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. However, we noticed that two bulbs in the room were not working, and there was no soap in the bathroom upon arrival. Thankfully, the staff responded quickly and fixed both issues as soon as we informed them. As a suggestion, it would be great if the rooms could be checked thoroughly before guests arrive to ensure everything is in order. This small step could help maintain high guest satisfaction, as not all visitors may be as understanding about minor inconveniences. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay again!

Veronica and her team made my 3 day stay here a seamless experience. They are overly generous in their hospitality and their warmth. I had breakfast included in my package, and I could not physically eat it all...it was delicious! My bed was really comfy and when my wifi didn't work, they were onto it, giving me access to another account...now that's service. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a big bathroom as well.

There was no chair for the desk, but I found a patio chair outside and used that...:-)

Spacious room,comfortable bed,very clean,bathroom was big and clean with good shower pressure.Additionally there was the lounge area with kitchen and basic appliances to use:) Location was ok,close to the center by tuk tuk,and few of nice cafes can be found in that area with short walk.Host Veronica and her boyfriend were absolutely amazing,staying in touch all the time and offering any help.They let us stay until evening when our night train was leaving.

Just not much day light getting into the room,but we could use lounge area which was a bonus

A good stay for people on a budget! Room had everything you needed and the host was super sweet and very helpful - also super responsive on whatsapp. Bathroom may need a little bit of an indepth clean there was a pungent smell coming from the drains but we have found that in lots of our stays around Asia.

Location may be tricky for some without their own transport, fortunately for us we had a tuktuk so it was perfect for us in that regard. Even when we chose to leave our tuktuk in the garage and just book a local tuktuk to go to a certain spot cause it was a busy time of day and parking can be difficult, they are cheap enough to get around.

We had a great stay at Palmyrah Residencies! The room was clean and tidy, equipped with everything we needed – AC, a wall fan, a kettle with tea and coffee, and even drinking water. The decor was lovely, and the overall presentation of the room made it feel very welcoming. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, which was a huge plus. We actually stayed here twice – once at the beginning of our holiday and again at the end. The location is super convenient, right next to Galle Road, which leads directly to the city center, all the attractions, and One Galle Face Mall. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It's excellent value for money, and the staff were so lovely. Special thanks to Rumesh for making our stay enjoyable!

It has a great location close to many restaurants and amenities. There is a Dialog centre nearby for sim cards and an ATM next door. I was in a super deluxe room with en ensuite and it was very comfortable. The bed was huge and was very nice, we were very tired after a long flight and slept very well. The rooms and communal living spaces were big and clean. The breakfast was really delicious, string hoppers with daal, coconut sambol and egg curry + papaya and bananas :) The service was great, Rumesh in particular was very helpful. Would stay again!

The hotel is clean, the staff is very classy and knows how to manage things, the facilities were very clean, the bed is comfortable and the size of the rooms is very good. It is located behind the street and hidden between the buildings.

Only 2 notes.. I heard the neighbors in the next room clearly on the first night. The walls seem not to be soundproof.. Secondly, card payment is not available here. You can only pay in cash, which is annoying for me as a traveler. Otherwise there is nothing

Great value for the price. Very clean, air conditioned room with filtered water and soap and shampoo provided. Shared kitchen if you want it and nice shared living area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk to food, books and all types of shopping. A really good place to combat your jetlag.

We arrived at night and it looked like it was on a dodgy street but it's not. Also, many places to stay in Sri Lanka have tile floors floors which are super slippery when they get wet.

I had a great experience with the Palmyra Residencies, the staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. I booked a double room with balcony and sea view, which was beautiful. The information about facilities at the property is accurate on booking.com. The room rates are reasonable, too. I will come back for sure!

The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials, including reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a handy kitchen for preparing meals. I particularly enjoyed the view from my private balcony, which offered a lovely glimpse of the beach and the lively Marine Drive. What really stood out during my stay was the exceptional hospitality from the owners, Arjuna and Veronika. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. They also provided great tips on what to do and see in Colombo, making my trip even more enjoyable. For a clean, comfortable stay in a prime location with outstanding personal service, Palmyrah Residencies is a fantastic choice in Colombo!
