The location is a bit far so it is a quiet place to stay, and the view from the rooms is amazing. The rooms are clean and nice. The manager is professional.

That the staff doesn't know enough English, so when we had a problem it was a bit hard to communicate it. We had two rooms and in both of them we couldn't charge our phones, even with Sri Lankan chargers.

Such a nice place, we loved the cottage we stayed in. Nice pool and nice breakfast. We didn’t mind staying a little outside the city, it was not very far and you can easily take a tuktuk og taxi. The staff was so friendly and helpful, such good service.

We have nothing bad to say about Aloft Grand hotel, we loved our stay

The hotel is a beautiful one, but what stands out most are the staff. They were kind, helpful, and quick to respond to any of our requests. The buildings are lovely and modern with a great view of the Buddhist stupa on the opposite hillside. The pool is nice on a warm day. The electronics in the room are modern, and it is nice that all the lights are dark at night.

Though it is beautiful, there are many small details that would make it better. The bathroom smells like sewage, there were many ants inside, the big windows were unclean, the toilet lid was loose. It was a little surprising considering how nice the place is in general. It is a long way to Ella, but it's easy to get a cheap TukTuk, and I think it's worth it for the view!

The rooms were really nice they gave us a chalet which was lovely pool was really nice Abd plenty of wild life in morning The staff were excellent would do anything for you they even packed my tuk tuk and done us lovely toast

Breakfast was cooked to order. Great surroundings, overlooking a huge mountain with a big white stupa at the very top. A view worth a million. The house is spacious. Well furnished. Exotic in the city. The most important thing is that the hotel manager will always help and take care of you, no matter what problem suddenly arises. Thank you Mr. Nidvica.

the property has a beautiful location just outside of Ella easily reachable on foot about 2.5km or tuk tuk. great scenery lovely rooms great staff. very helpful with all your needs

nothing not to like. was a great property for the price. if you like something a little fancier get the luxury chalet. nice and spacious

After our checkout we wanted to see nearby temple and we asked them, if we can leave our lugage at reception. They were very nice and allowed. 🙂 They were helpful and kind. Breakfast was great 🙂

There was to high humidity, but you can expect it at the place like this.

When we had a problem they solved it immediatly and gave us an upgrade. They also helped us with bus to Matara - they told us when it goes and stoped it for us in front of the hotel.

Very clean rooms, nice and helpful staff, there was a gym with treadmill, very good breakfast with wonderful view.

Chalet are beautifully done. Has all the amenities you require. Lovely view of trees and birds from the balcony. Bed, pillows and linens very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is of good size and clean Restaurant serves good breakfast and dinner with fantastic view of the mountains. Location is on main road about 10mins away from town centre and train station which suits us as prefer to be away from town but not too far. Service is top notch. Owner and staff are very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcomed.

No complaint. Although will suggest a bigger towel size maybe.
