The location is unique in a way - it truly is on a rock, with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff is very friendly and they went above and beyond to help us not only by carrying our luggage but also by keeping it while we went to Nuwara Eliya by train the next day, after checking out. The breakfast was good, lots of choice. Monkeys were nearby, waiting for us to finish so they can snatch leftovers from the table!

This hostel-type establishment is not accessible by car! There are a few steps to be made up and down as you cross a small river. It's only 5 min from the road but we had a lot of luggage and did not know this ahead of time. However, the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage from the car to the room.

Staff was very friendly n helpful. Rooms were clean. Food was excellent. We had our breakfast there with toast, egg, string hoppers & potato curry.

Rooms were hot and there was no ac. Only stand fan was there.

I stayed in Ella for 4 nights and was so happy I chose Ella Rock Heaven. The location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the town center, yet quiet, surrounded by nature, with stunning views of Ella Rock. You can easily walk to Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful – I truly felt like a princess. Special thanks to Supun, who went out of his way to help me arrange transport to Colombo when my original ticket didn’t arrive. He made sure I got there safely – such care means a lot! Also, they don’t try to upsell anything – laundry and tuk-tuks are offered at local prices. Highly recommended – beautiful place, and even more beautiful people!

The staff were amazing – they carried our luggage all the way to our room, which was quite a climb with many stairs, and they were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was very clean and had a spectacular view from the balcony. Breakfast was incredible, served on the rooftop garden with breathtaking views of Ella Rock – a truly unforgettable way to start the day.

We had a nice time at ella rock heaven. Must highly talk about the very friendly staff who were always there to help and support. The room and the toilet are clean. The room is decent in size. You do get hot water, just need to wait a bit. A good option if you are looking for a budget stay inclusive of breakfast and an amazing view of the ella rock. The team was always there to answer any questions and very sweet to pack our breakfast when we had to board an early morning train to Kandy. There is nothing not to like as we had an amazing time. Only point to highlight is that you need to climb around 20 steep stairs to reach the property and your room. But as I said the staff was soooo sweet that they carried all our luggage and were there to help. This is only for people who have any health related issues to climb stairs.

This was one of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka...so far. The View from the restaurant and our balcony in the family room was phenomenal. Straight out to Ella's Rock. Vidura is the absolute best host. He was always welcoming with his big smile and helpful. Every breakfast asked us what we wanted to do today and gave suggestions on transportation and timing etc. He is one of the hardest workers. Ishara and Eranda were also so kind and greeted us everywhere we went. The Breakfast was delicious and again you cannot beat the view. It was a short walk into town, which is why I booked this spot. Quiet for the kids to sleep but close enough to walk into and back from town whenever we felt like it.

The view of Ella Rock from the room balcony is genuinely phenomenal. The room itself is very spacious, and the bed is massive. The Main Street in Ella is only a 5 minute walk up the hill from the property. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast on the terrace was excellent. The view while having breakfast is so beautiful it doesn’t look real. Such a great place to stay in Ella, especially for the price!

The bathroom needs a good clean but it wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

The hotel is located just outside the town center, which is an undoubted advantage: it is very quiet and peaceful, and at the same time you can reach the town center in 10 minutes (shops, cafes, restaurants, ATMs). 15 mins walking to Ella train station. Good breakfasts served on the hotel terrace with a beautiful Ella Rock view. The room I had also had a breathtaking view of Ella Rock; I travel a lot, but in this hotel I probably had the most beautiful view from the balcony. Functional bathroom with hot water in the shower. We had a problem with leaking water around the toilet, but after reporting it to the staff, the fault was fixed within an hour. The hotel also offers laundry service at an affordable price.

The location is great, close to the center but not in the crowd, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was great.

Breakfast was good. The location was very good. The hotel will be a good choice for hikers. The view from my room was excellent. I went for a safari very early in the morning, and packed breakfast was ready for me upon request :) .

I had to step down 2 floors and then climbed up another 3/4 floors to get into my room. the condition of the toilet was not up to expected standard. The hand shower with the commode was leaking. (ALthough everytime I asked for hot water (for tea or coffee), someone helped me to get it) I would have been happier if there had been an electric kettle in my room.
