This location is ideal for those planning to visit Galle town and its surrounding areas, situated just 1.5 km from the historic Galle Fort. We travelled as a couple and were highly impressed by the warm hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, even assisting us with parking. The room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bathroom was in excellent condition. Although the pool is relatively small, it remains manageable and enjoyable, even when shared with other guests. Breakfast was satisfying and included well-toasted bread, sausages, eggs, fresh fruit, and a choice of coffee or milk.

This place was an absolute treat. The staff is very friendly and supportive. All our requests were duly accommodated. The room was great. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture setup was ample and perfect. The room deco was nice. The balcony had a direct Seaview. The washroom was spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool is clean. The whole venue carries an aesthetic. The lobby, dining, pool, rooms everything is a part of the aesthetic and lives up to it. The breakfast options could have a bit more on the offer everything else is perfect. Recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely worth the price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at De Moda Boutique Hotel in Galle for two days, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! We spent two days at De MODA hotel. It was the best hotel with the best hospitality I have ever been to. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel if you come to Galle. The breakfast they provide is amazing. The rooms and bathroom are very clean & water pressure is very good. The balcony view is very beautiful. The manager and the other three boys are always looking after the customers. Thank you to everyone for the service they provided us.

Staff were excellent and the manager helped us with sorting a Tuk Tuk via the ‘Pick Me’ App - Galle fort area only max 10 mins away and has great restaurants and the Fort is very good to visit Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked Good size room, the shower was excellent and nice and quiet

The toilet in the reception was not very clean and there’s not much around the location of the hotel The room just needed a little TLC

Oh my God I am SO coming back here. Everything about this hotel was incredible to me. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they even made me breakfast a couple of times! The facilities were clean, location was good and the pool was lovely, Sri Lanka is really hot and I walk/run everywhere so it was amazing being able to just. Come back to the hotel and go for a dip to cool off before resting up for the night and doing it all again the next day. The room was fantastic, literally the fanciest place I've ever stayed at and the firm 16°C I kept the air conditioning at was was a welcome respite from the sheer heat of the day. And to top everything off, I was the first kiwi to stay. In all, absolutely phenomenal place, whether I go back is not a matter of if, only when. Definitely recommended 100%. Thank you very much for letting me stay :)

The hotel is a quaint small hotel, located a little away from Galle fort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is filling and the staff here are really helpful, a big shout of Thank you to Shaad for accommodating all our requests as we were travelling with a one year old. This accommodation is ideal for solo travellers.

We spent 18 days in Sri Lanka and probably we had around 10 accommodations all over the country. The accommodation was very comfortable, the location was good but… I have no doubt that at De Moda boutique hotel we met the most friendly hosts from this vacation. Thank you, guys , for all the attention & kindness and advice that you showed us!

The location is stunning, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, providing great service. The English breakfast was delicious, adding to the overall positive experience.

However, the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement. The owners mentioned that renovations are underway, and I’m hopeful these updates will address the cleanliness concerns, enhancing the overall stay.

The staff were so polite, respectful and helpful - this is fair for most places in Sri Lanka but really these guys went the extra mile The side of the room , the large comfy bed and the quite AC were all appreciated

It is a bit out of town but the staff were very helpful at helping us find local price tuktuks easily
