Nice and quiet hotel with colonial architecture. View from the room directly to garden and pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Just powder coffee available, I would expect good espresso. Dinner menu should be improved.

This is a wonder place to stay, full of history and lovely large comfortable rooms. The staff attended to our every need, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent.

The Wi-Fi was pretty poor and needs to be looked at.

Having previously stayed at Tamarind Hill I knew we would be happy with our stay. However we were delighted to be upgraded to The Admirals Suite which was a wonderfully comfortable historic space with antique furniture.

The property was beautiful. Check-in was effortless and seamless. The staff was amiable throughout. The room was spacious. The AC worked fine, the bed was big enough for two people. The bathroom was one of the biggest I've seen. They had rainfall shower-type thing. Heck, the bathroom even had a fan in it. There's a small open area behind the room so you can smoke out there if that's your thing. WIFI and cable TV were free.

It was a bit out of the way. They offered to call you a taxi to the fort which was convenient but very expensive.

The hotel is in a well maintained Dutch bungalow with excellent breakfast, hospitality and warmth. This hotel has amazing vibes, the swimming pool is amidst green garden. This is best propoerty to enjoy heritage with modern amenities. Highly recommended for couples looking for solace, peace and tranqulity. The english breakfast is amazing with good fruits, juices, bakery basket, hash brownies, and pan cakes.

A very private and tranquil property - perfectly located to enjoy Galle in the afternoons/evenings, but with all the delights of a more secluded setting. The room was delightful, and communal facilities superb. It felt more like a private home than a hotel. We have already visited twice, and will certainly return again!

Building and surroundings are incredible. Very very relaxing. Food is amazing. Chef offered to cook whatever we wanted, so took full advantage of the incredible fresh fish available every night - wow. Breakfast fantastic too.... Lovely pool, lovely room and amazing staff. An experience as much as a stay, would love to go back.
