Wonderful helpful and friendly staff in every part of the hotel. Pool area is lovely and relaxing. Hotel is on the beachfront so lovely to walk on and hear the waves however red flag beach so swimming is not advised but the pool area is fab. Good location. Buffet breakfast and dinner lovely and lots to choose from. A particular mention to the lady that makes the milk and egg hoppers, which were perfect. Lovely rooftop bar overlooking swimming pool and sea fab. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is a bit dated in parts and could do with an upgrade. Unfortunately swimming not advised in the sea due to currents.

Huge hotel. Caters to big groups. Got all the facilities you need. Huge pool and excellent staff.

Its a resort so don't expect the local life, although the staff are super friendly. The beach is tiny and gets big waves. Don't expect to easily swim in the sea. Do go out of the resort for food and nicer beaches. It's between 2 beautiful towns so do go on day trips.

I would like to thank them for organizing a special welcome ceremony for us. Additionally, they upgraded our room to a suite free of charge, and we had a fantastic time with my family. It is an ideal place for a 2-3 day weekend getaway. The sea is quite wavy, and there are large rocks near the shore, so you need to be careful. Spending time at the pool and the pool bar was really enjoyable. It is only a 10-minute drive from the center of Galle, which is a great advantage. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had a flight at 7 AM, so I checked out at 3 AM. Before leaving, I asked if they could prepare a takeaway sandwich, and they kindly did.

The only thing I didn’t like was the single bed in the room—it was way too soft and uncomfortable. I can say that I didn’t sleep well.

Hotel was very nice and the beach was walking distance to the hotel. The rooms were well equipped and lovely. The breakfast was amazingly good with a wide variety. Close to Galle Fort with a car. Very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

In Sri Lanka we normally go to hotels with a driver. The hotel did not have any driver accommodation despite my request earlier on. The receptionist did not have a solution to this and didn't seem to care. Had to complain to the manager to sort an alternative accommodation for the driver.

Staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to the manager who did his best to accommodate our requests and assisted us in all possible ways. Restaurant staff was also very accommodating, polite, and overly helpful. Breakfast was a good one with many choices, even for Westerners. Location, facilities, and pool were great Massage at the Spa was very professional and relaxing. Their coconut ice cream is just perfect.

Dinner menu (A La Carte) could be more various, and they put spices in every dish by default (like everywhere in Sri Lanka). So if you prefer non-spicy food, you'd better ask them not to put spices even on french fries. Rooms were a bit outdated: some renovations could be done to make them look more appealing. It's better not to leave the balcony door open for a long time, esp. when lights are on ; otherwise, all kinds of flies will fly in. There is no way to have a good swim in the sea because of the waves and rocks.

Our overall experience was exceptional, but what truly set it apart was the incredible hospitality. The staff went above and beyond, consistently delivering proactive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm service. Every interaction felt personal, with each team member always greeting us with a smile. A special mention to the concierge team, Chamara and Chamesh, whose attentiveness made our stay seamless, and the dining team—Sonal, Iman, the rooftop staff, and the talented chefs—who ensured every meal was a delight. The restaurant supervisor (Harsha i think, in the blue shirt) and the General Manager also stood out, especially for taking the time to personally connect with guests during the cocktail hour. What truly impressed us was how patiently and generously the team accommodated all our special requests for our 2-year-old, making our experience effortless and enjoyable. In the end, while the luxurious setting and amenities were fantastic, it was the warmth and impeccable hospitality of the staff that truly made this stay unforgettable.

Nice hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made us feel right at home. The property itself has  breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.  The rooms are spacious and clean. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and the gentle sea breeze was pure bliss. The infinity pool is an absolute highlight—perfect for relaxing while soaking in the panoramic ocean views.  The food was a culinary delight, with a mix of local and international dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable.

Not swimmable beach, due to the big waves and current.

The Radisson Blu is an amazing hotel with wonderful staff and superb facilities. Starting with the breakfast, the breakfast buffet has so much choice to cover all personal preferences, including live cook stations. Lunch menu was exceptional and diversified, and the evening buffet / al a carte menu was fantastically creative with a multitude of choices available - different every evening. The skills of each chef has to be commended with their style of approach. The bedroom was superb, cleaned daily to a high standard. We had a small issue with a rain leak which was quickly sorted and so apologetic - so thanks for that. There is a hotel roof top bar serving a variety of foods and drinks and has a pool table, and large TV. Hotel is quiet, pool and children's shallow pool were exceptionally clean, plenty of sun beds and chairs, pool bar was well stocked and the pool bar staff were always on hand to serve. There is a kids club and a fitness room. There is several rows of sun beds that face the sea and there is a public small beach in front of the sun beds but protected by a good fence but with easy access to the beach. Nearest Town is Galle Fort and is a good visit for cafe's and shops, but can be a bit pricey. Tuk Tuk travel about 10 mins for about £3 ~ £4 with a haggle. Other places to visit also by Taxi or Tuk Tuk.

Could have done with a quiet communal coffee / Tea room for leisure on very rainy days. Maybe some other internal activities for these type of days too. There is a lounge with the possible facilities, but this was not operating whilst we were there. The sea at the beach is non swim as it is rough seas (when we were there with a storm) and many rocks.

We had an incredible stay at Radisson Blu. We were looked after by the incredible staff right from start to finish. The room we were given was incredible - so spacious and light with beautiful views of the ocean and the pool area. The bathroom was perfect with space and every comfort that is needed. The pool area is so nice to spend time in the sun or tucked away lin the shade in one of the many pool Side areas. My partner had her birthday while we were there and there was a piece of cake with a personalised message that was so thoughtful! We took a day trip to Mirissa with the driver Russel who was patient and look after us well. Chamesh at the Hotel helped us with any questions we had and everything we needed help with. Thank you SO MUCH for the amazing stay we had with the team at Radisson Blu, Galle.
