These guyssss <3 could not have been better. They were so genuinely interested in us having a lovely time. As a woman travelling alone with a kid, I felt so safe and even in just two nights I felt very familiar. Everything was a reasonable price, they were actively ensuring we didn’t get ripped off. The place was extremely clean and my son LOVED the pool so much. They really went out of their way for him, taking him to a lovely personable hatchery and even to the factory of a jewellers to, with guidance, make a ring himself out of a gem he picked himself. It was a truly special experience here

The care-takers were super nice and welcoming. Very attentive and will help with your needs. We had the entire property so it was a very homely stay. Nice, quite location surrounded by nature. Local wildlife, monkeys and birds makes it really nice. The pool was clean and was a great addition to chill after a warm day of travelling. The rooms are spacious and newly renovated. Beds are comfy, air conditioning is pretty good and bathrooms are clean with hot water. Breakfast is quite good and freshly made. Morning/Afternoon tea/coffee are provided on request. Note, I was sea-sick from whale watching. When we returned, the care taker noticed, they were kind to make a glass of fresh lime-juice to make me feel better :)

Nothing to note. Just be aware of mosquitos. Make sure to close the windows on time and then you are good :) The road to the property is a bit narrow. Not unusual for the area but you'll struggle if you are travelling in a mini-bus. The Pool is kept as clean as possible - not an easy job with the surrounding nature.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights during our stop in Galle. The rooms, especially the bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Duminda and his family provided such a hospitality, the highlight was definitely the good Sri Lankan breakfast that his mother cooked for us. I definitely recommend this accommodation, you get really good rooms and a great service for little money.

This accomodation is not in the city center, it‘s 5km away from the Galle fort. We had a car, so it was okay. Be prepared that you can‘t reach the city center by foot.

Urban Galle Villa is undeniably one of the best accommodations I have ever been in Sri Lanka, and surely the best one in Galle. It‘s owned by a very kind family, and you feel immediately like home there! Everything was squeaky clean, and the breakfast delicious! We stayed 3 nights before heading for our last day to Colombo, and it was the best decision we could ever make. Thank you for your hospitality! Until the next time!

Amazing breakfast, comfortable room and lovely balcony to sit on it the evening. The guest house is in a great location really near transport links and also the Fort and old town

We were really looking forward to our trip to Sri Lanka from Spain. We planned everything ourselves. We didn't do it through an agency, I was looking at Booking and Urban Galle Villa had very good reviews and we decided to go for it and we were right. It is located in the middle of the typical streets of Galle with lots of greenery and tranquility. It is a two-storey, four-bedroom, colonial-style family house, which we almost filled because there were 7 of us. We were the only guests for those 5 days and we were literally pampered by Xabi (he said we should call him that to make communication easier), his brothers and his mother, who helped Xabi with the breakfasts, which were all prepared to our liking. The times we went out early, like on safari or whale watching, they even prepared tuppers for us to take with us. Xabi was always there for whatever we needed. He really made us feel at home. If we ever come back to the island, which is quite possible, we will definitely stay at Urban Galle Villa again. In these days after our departure a swimming pool was being finished, which will give the facility more value and will certainly make the stay more enjoyable. We can only say: Thank you very much for everything, Xabi.

A very nice relaxing stay in a villa with a lovely pool. Set inside the jungle not far off the main road and close to the beach. Good size room with balcony and very clean. And a very comfortable bed. Also the included breakfast was amazing, so much food, including eggs, fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee, cake, for slices of toast, butter and jam and string Hoppers with Dahl and coconut. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

It was a little further out of town, about 15 minutes drive in my Tuk Tuk.

The swimming pool is clean and a little paradise! The room has a/c. Breakfast was big and really good. The guys at the urban galle villa are always nice, welcoming and smiley!

The door of our bathroom didn’t close and neither the windows. There was hot water in the shower, but even at maximum heat the water was warm-ish.
