Amazing villas in a stunning rainforest hilltop location. Well decorated and finished and with excellent hi speed wifi and smart tvs. Nice pools although slightly chilly as expected in the hills and not warmed by the sun so much. Kids loved the private plunge pools.

We were a family of 5 and the booking led us to believe we had a family suite so all together but in the end had two villas next door to each other. The restaurant food was nice but massively overpriced for what it was and not over clear on what was available. Room service was a bit hit and miss, didn’t get clean tea cups or glasses or refills of tea bags etc without reminders. These are all small niggles and didn’t stop us enjoying our stay.

We stayed for 1 night in this property in Kandy, around 40mins from the city center. Our room was garden view with pool. Room Nice and spacious quality was good. Pool and sun beds were nice; they are not covered so not usable during rainy weather. Food Breakfast was choice of European or Sri Lankan set, which was good. Spa Service was fine, staff was kind. Service Staff was kind, attentive and very open to feedback which we appreciated. Overall our stay was positive and we felt like the staff genuinely tried to go above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, despite the few issues.

Property is in the middle of the forest, so insects unfortunately come with this. In room shower which was not great. Room service was a bit slow but good. Spa staff doesn't speak English very well.

I loved the view. Room had private pool overlooking mountains with a breath taking view. Food was delicious. We ordered from hotel restaurant and prices were good. The place is quiet. Staff are very nice and helpful. I loved the outdoor shower with indoor bathroom. Room had ac. Bathroom had hot water. Towels were supplied and clean. Sheets smelled nice and fresh. It was my sister birthday and they prepared a complimentary small cute cake with few balloons. It was nice. They offered inroom breakfast but we had it in restaurant to avoid bugs and ants.

Minor issues. Like the road to the hotel. Location is a bit far from city. Few things in the room that i am sure if i contacted front desk would be fixed but we did not bother.

The list is way too long as to wht we loved at this place.... exceptional staff, service, behaviour under the leadership of Andrew. The Spa is a must try. Beautiful secluded place where u can let loose ur soul and find urself. The extra extra special treatment we received whether arranging our seating at r favorite spot, or baking a surprise cake, or cooking special meals for us... we got very emotional while leaving this beautiful place and beautiful ppl.... they always smile at you and it will make ur day. Little more choice for fussy eaters like us and next time look forward to authentic Srilankan menu.

.The hotel is located in the middle of the nature and rooms have amazing views. Also, they are very clean and everything you need will be at your disposal. However, the highlight is definitely the service since all the members of the staff are super nice and warm. We will also would like to thank Ravi for giving us the best time in the dining area. Food options are wide and very tasty, we had dinner twice in the hotel. Swimming pool area is super beautiful. Thank you so much for everything! We would definitely like to come back.

The only thing to consider is that the hotel is a bit far away from the center of Kandy. If you want to relax is perfect or if you have a private vehicle. However, if you are traveling by public transport might be a bit difficult to reach.

Everything was beautiful. The room, the view, the pool, the food, the staff. We enjoyed our time there and found it peaceful and relaxing. You could sit out and look at the view for hours - with the changing light of the day. The stars were pretty incredible too, after the sun went down. The Sri Lankan food was delicious; their chef did a wonderful job, and all the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

My only complaint was that it was a long way from Kandy, a lot longer than we realised. This made it difficult to get to Kandy for the day and back. But being far away from Kandy was a blessing in disguise as it meant that we enjoyed the remote and peaceful location - my advice is to visit Kandy before you head up the mountain to the resort - then just stay and enjoy the view and resort amenities.

The overall ambiance of this place was amazing. The room size was spacious and there was private plunge pool with our villa. And then in the morning you get to have a lovely view of mountain side with clouds coming down. The staff were super friendly and took great care of us. Since it is way out of city center, the staff were really helpful in finding us car/tuk tuk rides for our city sightseeing. The breakfast was lovely and freshly done with tasty breads item. It is great for those people who just want to relax and stay inside the property for two three nights and then head to some other city.

The location as it says is 10kms away from city center. And with its location in the mountains it is not easy to find uber rides. However the staff do help out in every way possible. Secondly the price is quite high as compared to same quality hotels that we stayed at various locations in Srilanka. Thirdly the closest commercial activity area is also at some distance and as sun sets it becomes hard to go to find some snacks or things like that.

The property was good but unfortunately the pool doesn’t have heater the pool was so cold and there was a lot of bugs in the room otherwise everything was good.

My husband and I spent four amazing nights at Celestial Hills in Kandy for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say it was the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a hidden paradise. We stayed in one of their beautiful villas, and the staff made sure we felt like royalty the entire time. Every night, they decorated our room in a different, special way, knowing we were there for our honeymoon. On Diwali, they truly went above and beyond—lighting candles, creating a stunning Ganesha on our bed with flowers, and leaving a mixture of Indian and Sri Lankan sweets for us. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially as it was our first Diwali away from home. The villa itself was stunning—spacious with incredible views of the valley and sunrise. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view, watching the sky change from purple to orange. It was like something out of a nature documentary, only better because we were there to experience it firsthand. Our private pool and large balcony made it even more special—we had breakfast there most mornings, taking in the serene atmosphere. Leaving each day for sightseeing felt like we were leaving heaven, but returning in the evening always felt like coming back to it. The service at Celestial Hills is by far the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. From the moment we arrived, Andrew, the resident manager, welcomed us with pineapple achar and tea. Throughout our stay, he stayed in contact via WhatsApp, making sure we had everything we needed. No matter what we asked for, it was brought to us within minutes. Andrew truly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, it didn’t even feel like we were at a hotel—it felt like we were staying with family. The chefs, in particular, were incredible.
