Bathroom, comode was not properly cleaned. Water from the bathroom spilled over to the room. They changed my room. But the comode cistern tank took a hour to refil water.

Great facilities, nice view of Kandy, clean washroom with hot water, excellent buffet breakfast and we ordered room service which was priced well and tasty. The pool looked well maintained and the staff were very hospitable. I would stay again

The property was fantastic, I only put 9 out of 10 stars because we payed for a deluxe family room and was given a double room. They offered to change it afterwards but we would have had to wait an hour. Otherwise it was great :)

We had the opportunity to be upgraded and benefit from the suite room, which was enormous. We had a private pool. The room was really great. The hotel swimming pool also. The food was also great (breakfast and dinner).

Our private swimming pool was really dirty with insects and leaves. We didn’t use it because of that. It was really far from the city center and difficult to get a taxi from where the hotel is located. Therefore, the taxis were more expensive. The personal was not really at ease with English which make the communication more complicated sometimes. The WiFi was terrible. They didn’t even give us the password at first and then they gave us the wrong one. Even though, the WiFi was not working. We tried to call the reception to let them know but they never answered.

Mostly the location...Very structured and architectural hotel in Kandy next to the mahaweli river...Was nothing a little bit of difference as showed in the pictures and everything is super...We booked two HB rooms...When we go through the reviews before reserve the rooms had a doubt about the meals plans they had provided but we could enjoy a delicious buffet with many varieties during the stay...Calm and peaceful environment...Highly recommend and worth for money....

The towels they gave us were dirty and threadbare...It is a must to hand new towels in the rooms....Than that nothing was bad...

We found a place to relax after traveling a long distance. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The buffet style dinners were delicious. Especially the Wi-Fi which we need is very good. It was late when we arrived at the hotel. After the late night meal we had a very good sleep. Then the next day we got to see a beautiful garden surrounded by beautiful trees. It is really like a forest. Very clean and beautiful swimming pool. Wish we could have stayed another day but we had to come according to our travel plan.

It's so beautiful lots of character the staff is very helpful and kind there is two big swimming pools the restuarant is charming and quality taste food the best food I eat in Sri lanka and has a good variety of food for everyone. I will recommend this hotel very big clean rooms with wifi and there is two banquet halls . I thank the management and the staff for the excellent service to make my stay comfortable good luck serendip stone banglow.

Everything was excellent excellent excellent

Overall a very good hotel. We had a comfortable sleep in the clean rooms with comfortable mattresses. Very delicious dinner. A breakfast buffet with a variety of Sri Lankan dishes. Very good swimming pool with a beautiful garden with a very nice view. The fastest Wi-Fi system we expected was very helpful for our internet work. Friendly manager and staff. All in all, this hotel is a hidden gem.

Nothing to say all very good

The staff is pleasant and very professional. The ambiance was welcoming, and their attention to detail made our experience exceptional. We felt valued as guests and would definitely recommend this place to others!

The water in the bathroom was leaking from the sink, and the TV wasn’t working. Since we only stayed for one night, these issues didn't bother us too much.

Wonderful location, very friendly staff, from the arrival they welcomed us and treated us nicely, we chose this place to celebrate our 5th anniversary, I think this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in kandy. Mr. Amal was given his full support to arrange a surprise private dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Thank You every one

The location is excellent, the rooms were very spacious and well equipped, clean and comfortable. the friendly staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Recommended as a must visit location in kandy. Serandip Stone Bunglow will be our first choice in future visits to Srilanka.

Parking at the property was a bit inconvinient. We were disappointed to see the staff working very long shifts from breakfast to the close of the day.
