the room and stay was good

We locked the room before heading to the city. Upon our return, we noticed the door was partially open, with no signs of intrusion. Even after locking it from the inside, the door would open on its own. When we informed the hotel manager, she mentioned that we needed to lift the door slightly to fully close it, which we hadn't been informed about during check-in. The hotel has multiple levels with numerous stairs for access. This was especially challenging for us as my wife had undergone knee surgery, making it difficult to navigate the stairs, even to reach the Car Park area and return.

It was clean and spotless , although there were some little ants in the bathroom but it was no problem at all, it had a good view of the river on the balcony, a good swimming pool, the staff was good, and they brought us breakfast 2 hours before the usual timing because we should go out early. The breakfast was ok although the variety was low. The location was beautiful. Totally l recommend this place

The manager wasn't at here office most of the time. There was ok and we could find him anyway. There was a Steep slope in the entrance of hotel but that wasn't also a big deal to us

A wonderful place to stay overnight for a reasonable price! Great food, especially the breakfast 🔥was so delicious! Staff was friendly and really helpful! Beautiful view! Overall it was a great stay!

Very good experience. Beautiful location. Lovely to watch the life unfold at the river banks. In the night the jungle sounds are loud and beautiful. The included breakfast is one of the best we’ve had during our travels in Sri Lanka. We will return on our next visit to Kandy.

Location is 15 minute drive from centre. Shops, restaurants... are not close. We called tuk-tuk using PickMe app without problem. No socket type G in thee room but staff lent us appropriate adapter.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. They cooked everything fresh, drove to the next shop if we needed anything and were just so nice. The quiet place and the pool area were amazing for a calm afternoon. The shower had amazing water pressure which you don't find very often while travelling in Sri Lanka.

Wonderful place for relaxing! Room is spacious enough! Very good breakfast was included (fried eggs, real coffee, toasts, tomatoes, delicious pancakes and etc) Personal speaks English fluently. The decoration of building is cozy, stylish and sophisticated, - you can make numerous instagram photos)

Kandy Riverside Villa is a win if you don’t mind to stay in the outskirts. Simply all in one, comfy room, nice balcony, good sized pool, tasty breakfast. Good restaurant in the house with hugs variety of meals, and as a bonus the staff is extremely friendly, the are the bests, especially Ram, always smiley and attentive, he made our stay truly remarkable. Our room 124 was very good sized, with a huge balcony, nice view to the river, adequate bathroom with shower. Will be back for sure.

A bit too far from Kandy city center. Lack of fridge.

We arrived at the end of the day and were greeted with a warm smile and a cool drink. After taking a good hot shower we had a tasty and filling dinner. The room was a good size, no wasted space but big enough to move around comfortably. The bed was not too soft or hard and the balcony offered a nice view of the river. It's a great location to escape the noise and crowds in Kandy.

The owners have great local knowledge. All staff are amazingly helpful and really pleasant. We had a very comfortable stay here and we'd highly recommend Kandy Riverside Villa as a perfect place to stay to relax, with easy access to Kandy. A family member also provides a good taxi service, taking the stress out of transport needs.
