The owners were very nice. Whenever we had a question or concern, they were right there to help. For example, they let us borrow a knife as well as a plug converter/adapter and they fixed a light bulb that wasn't working. They also told us about the fantastic daily bird migrations to and from the lake that you can easily watch from the rooftop. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the property to the center of town so you don't really need any kind of transportation. Wifi worked pretty well. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.
The towels were a little thin. No free toilet paper. Lighting in the room was a bit low. Outlet connections worked fine but were a touch loose. The place is rather old-fashioned (but that didn't bother us).

Owners were very helpful. Nice view of the mountains from the balcony or up on the rooftop terrace. Not too far from the lake / city centre

Friendly hosts, happy for a chit chat and a friendly advice. Owner did guide me about restaurants near by, Temple visit formalities, my next destination plans etc... To top it up... He even exchanged forex .. i did not had to go to the city to get it exchanged
WiFi was not in range in the room allocated to me (even tho advertised) alternatively had to go to top terrace to access WiFi

Very friendly and helpful owner-managers, who gave me some great tips as well as lots of cultural information which I found really interesting. Fabulous views. Good Wi-Fi. Would have stayed longer if I could have.

The host was exceptionally kind and helped us a lot with our time in Kandy and with the rest of our trip. The hotel offers a great view of the city with a very nice rooftop terrace. Unfortunately with COVID, they have had to scale back operations but the host was more than accommodating.
It’s not that close to the centre but it’s very easy to get the bus or it’s only a 20/30 minute walk!
