I had an awesome stay at Hotel Lakefield! They served amazing food with an authentic Sri Lankan twist and a consideration for the spice tolerance 😅 Very accommodating staff who answered our billion questions and a well kept room with everything that we needed. Amazing views of Kandy - the mountains and greenery are something I’ll never get used to!!

Fantastic hotel with excellent customer service - they know how to treat guests right. The room also had the most beautiful views of the Kandy Lake, just out the balcony! I would sit out there and have my tea every morning I just couldn’t get enough. Will definitely be returning here for my next visit.

We were really happy that we found this very clean and comfortable place in this perfect location. There is a very friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was great—a mix of western and Sri Lankan breakfast. The hotel is in a good, central location and is easily accessible by tuk-tuk (about 200 rps). We were so thankful to be in such a clean and good place after an exhausting day.

As a solo female traveler, I had an amazing stay at LAKEFIELD hotel I felt safe and truly welcomed throughout my visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious—Dinner and Breakfast was a highlight of my day. Highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers looking for comfort, safety, and great hospitality!"

The breakfast was very good we enjoyed the Sri Lankan food, ideal location only 10 minutes walk to the city centre and the world famous Buddhist temple. I walked around the lake in the evening and it was very peaceful surrounding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. my stay was very comfortable and excellent value for money.

Beautiful stay! It is close to the Kandy lake Walking distance 5mins The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. It is a beautiful location, very close to Kandy town and the temple. I enjoyed walking around the Kandy lake after I visited the temple which was a walking distance from the hotel. Staffs were very friendly and my food was prepared the way I wanted.

Nestled in a quiet corner in Kandy (about 15 minutes' walk from the city center), their staff were polite and absolutely delightful. An incredibly well-maintained property with a quality 3- or 4-star vibe to it Particularly, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and up to the gold standard during our stay. We absolutely loved our stay here! The bedroom was stunning, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast each morning was incredible as well, and the staff were so lovely.
