We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was very good, the rooms and facilities were spotless, and the location is excellent — just a short walk from the city center. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. A special mention to Malik, who knows the region inside out, can easily arrange activities, and speaks French — something we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this place.

Location was wonderful, staff were amazing and there was free pick up from the bus station. The restaurant served great food. Malik also offered to get train tickets for us from Kandy to Ella. Our tuk tuk tour with Imran was super and would highly recommend.

It was good being there. I only stayed there for a day and the staff was very nice. The room I was in was good enough for a day, maybe I would have picked a bigger room if I stayed longer. The terrace is very nice and it’s close to the city center (about 10 minutes to get to the train station by Tuk Tuk).

The seperate bathroom weren’t attached to the room and I had to take a corridor to get there but it’s close to the room anyway.

Malik and his brother where really helpful. The room was good and the food in the restaurant too. Something I would highly recommand is a massage. It was so good!

Really decent hotel, the staff are so friendly and amazing to have free pick up from train station. It is in good walking distance from town. Contact them about booking your train ticket as they can organise for cheap so you don’t get ripped off by online websites!!! They also upgraded us to a nicer room for free as it was quiet.

The staff was very kind. Rooms are big and clean. Food was expensive but with a very good reason: they buy the best produce and don't re-use the cooking oil. Next to that, the food inflation in Sri Lanka also contributes to the price. Easy walk to the city centre and we were happy we weren't staying in the city centre.

The staff were incredibly helpful and were able to arrange a free pick up when I arrived, as well as further excursions throughout my stay. The food was really good and the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location and is very peaceful.

Great location, friendly staff (who helped organise activities) delicious breakfast available (monkey watching every morning) lovely big terraces and communal areas to spend time in. Free water in reception!

The rooms were very basic and not very sound proof.

Malik (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I had to go to the hospital for a vaccination and he went with us and helped a lot when we were there. Also speaks perfect english, and always up for a joke. The room was perfectly ok for a short stay in ella.

Everything is made to make your stay the most comfortable and smooth as possible. Malik is a great host and always tries his best to arrange you and find you the best plans !!
