- Clean, nice and spacious room. Good size bathroom. - Kind and helpful staff. Fresh welcome juice. - Good and fresh breakfast, served at the terrace with the nice view of town. When we asked for local breakfast (instead of the usual continental), they eagerly prepared it the following day and it was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. - Good location, 200 meters from the main road around the lake.

- Minimum amenities in bathroom (just a small piece of soap and toilet paper, no shampoo or conditioner, no hand-towels) but this is the norm in most hotels or homestays in Sri Lanka. - The property is up a small hill - short but very steep road to it.

Good location. Very friendly staff, good service. English breakfast was good. Fresh juice and fruits available. Welcome drinks was are so good, thanks! Hotel it is a typical Lanka villa, with good interior. Hot water is available any time, good pressure in water system. Bathroom and toilet is a clean. Bathroom towels very good quality and condition. The beds and mattresses are good (but short for tall people) Bed sheets good quality and condition. Pillow also are good. Bottles with water was available in room. AC works perfect.

Poor soundproofing into the building. If somebody in hotel wake up early morning, all guests will be wake up also. Some surfaces in the room are dusty, need more attention to the details of room cleaning. TV doesn't work The rooftop is not very clean and a mess. Would like more comfort in this area.

This small hotel is 100 metres from Kandy Lake. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable with good pillows. The shower was a standout - best shower I had in Sri Lanka - hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was excellent. The breakfast was served on the 2nd floor looking out at the view. Standard breakfast of fruit, eggs and toast was well prepared and hot. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a car and were able to park on the property. We walked to most places we wanted to visit and enjoyed walking home after dinner in town around the lake - it is well lit and a lovely stroll.

I booked the hotel for 63usd, but the hotel demanded 71,82usd, so I had to pay 71,82. I was told there was a mistake of booking.com

We just stayed for one night and the location was handy for exploring (although tuk tuk couldn't find it but we directed him). Up a very steep hill for awareness Room was nice and clean, beds comfortable and aircon worked well. Breakfast was nice. Good shower.

Room smelt very slightly musty. Window in bathroom didn't quite close properly. For awareness can only pay cash but clearly stated when booking so not an issue.

This is the best hotel we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. The staff were so welcoming .. we arrived late and it was not a problem. The room was immaculate .. so clean and very comfortable and the furniture and decor was amazing. The breakfast was stunning and so delicious and plenty to keep you going all day. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and hospitable. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

This hotel is basicallly next to the lake, 5 minutes by tuktuk from the very city center, 10 mins to train station. The location is calmer than the center and the hotel is surrounded by greens. What a fantastic room we got. We stayed in a family room for 4, we had a beautiful terace with an amazing view. The beds were so comfy, the room was very clean and smelled so fresh. Breakfast was delicious. We only saw/interacted with one staff member (I think we were the only guests there, the main season was just starting) and he was very nice and frinedly, always smiling. We highly recommend walking around the lake to the city center - you can see so many different birds and other animals like varans and turtles, monkeys and chipmunks. We stayed for one night but if we are ever coming back to Kandy, we'll stay there again.

It was really nice room for given price at the time. Whole hotel looks great. There was very good breakfast and we had the best rice and curry there.

It was little hard to find, location on google maps was not accurate. On last crossroad, you have to turn to location, that is marked as private and there is no sign to hotel. AC was malfunctioning first day, but we got new room next day.

Good location close to the lake and at 20 minutes from the centre. Nice staff. Clean and large rooms with good bathroom and hot shower.

Construction works in the building. Not disturbing as such, but should be closed off or better highlighted since dangerous situation.

The rooms are spacious with good beds, a big terrace, big and well furnished bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Location is good, 15 min walking from the city center/tempel of the tooth relic.

The room could be a bit cleaner. There were some stains in the bathroom and the floor was not so clean, sigarette leftovers on the table on the terrace.
