Absolutely amazing hotel in Kandy and one of the best in Sri Lanka! Great service, very friendly and helpful staff! One of the Managers is incredibly good at his job and welcomed me the best possible way! Staff are very nice and kind! The view is great, it's the best location in Kandy! Rooms are unique, the place has Sri Lankan soul! Breakfast was nicely served! Tea kettle in the room, water, toiletries and an antimosquito repellent, air con and hot water! I booked for one night, but stayed longer as I liked it. Thanks guys, you have made my stay in Kandy (and whole trip to Sri Lanka) very special!

Really nice hotel with Kandy lake view. The room was clean and confortable. Breakfast and food in restaurant was delicious. And in menu you would find something based on your taste. Location - not far from to bus or railway station. Considering that we were in the rainy season, the room was warm and comfortable. Hot water was always available. High-speed internet in the room allowed us to work. Nice staff who helped us with all our questions. We had a very early check-out and the manager took us to the train station at 6 am.

There were no disadvantages

The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. We got a packed lunch and it was really tasty - thank you. Views were so nice and it was a short walk to the central area but a good distance away from noise, which was great. Nice was very big and we loved having a balcony to sit at. We also ate at the restaurant one lunch time and we enjoyed it! Would recommend - special thanks to the staff there!

Fortunately, we cannot confirm the older reviews. Apparently the management has changed. Hot water and wifi are fine. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great. It is right opposite the famous "Temple of the Tooth". From some rooms (unfortunately only a few) you have a direct view! Rooms without a direct view of the temple can use an extra shared balcony. The hotel's restaurant also has a beautiful view of the temple. That's really great. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the city. However, we still preferred to take the tuk tuk. Communication with the manager was very friendly and he helped us several times with problems. Many, many thanks.

Everything was really perfect.

Excellent spot overlooking the lake in Kandy. Pry and the team were always available to answer any questions or help with any queries. The one time the wifi (which was excellent) dropped, Pry was on the case and fixed it asap. The room was big and clean with lots of furniture and storage. We also had an enormous bathroom and lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast was great with plenty of food, and the one dinner we had was also delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. We extended our stay because we enjoyed the hotel so much. A nice and not too difficult walk up to the hotel meaning at night it was quiet and in the morning we could watch the Buddhist ceremonies taking place at the Temple of the Tooth on the other side of the lake. Thank you Pry and the team for a great stay.

The staff were friendly. The manager was great and the restaurant staff were so helpful and kind. The food was also very good. Good selection of Sri lankan and Western menu for breakfast and dinner. The location is amazing with wonderful views of Kandy Lake.

The room cleaning staff was a bit of a disappointment on the first day as an old bed sheet was laid on one of the rooms we occupied. However, the problem was quickly rectified with clean sheets by the helpful manager.

The hotel is a 3-storey building, that looks like a villa with few rooms, thus very homey and cozy. The view from the balcony is amazing, full lake view, in the morning we've got beautiful pics with sunrise. The receptionist was very kind, we arrived late, nevertheless, we were taken care of, room was nice, they cooked a some salad for us, and fixed the wifi (we stayed at the top floor). The bathroom, was very clean, teapot with some tea was available in the room.

We stayed just one night, so, everything was fine

It's a lake-facing hotel with a stunning view. Staff- The staff were kind and let me choose the room. They friendly and considerate about my food choice. They prepared exclusive vegetarian local cuisine as per my request. The juices were so refreshing. I still miss their welcome drink. 🥤 View- One can get a beautiful view of the Kandy lake from the balcony (2nd floor) and first floor (not very clear one) as well. Location - It's easily excessable from the town and near the famous Tooth Relic Temple.

It's just perfect

- The hotel's position was good, 5min walk from the lake, 10min from the centre's mall. But the road is very sloped and not ideal for tuktuks to climb up. - The hotel was clean - Nice panoramic view from balconies and restaurant

- The double-size bed was actually 2 single mattresses, so in the middle it's uncomfortable to sleep on. - The receptionist wasn't much helpful as in guiding us what to see in Kandy city

Beautiful view from the hotel overlooking the lake. Comfortable beds. A few minutes walk from the centre of town but in quiet location.

The hotel itself is not noisy but Sri Lanka is a noisy place. If you are sensitive to noise, this is a good place to stay as it's away from the main streets. But wildlife and road noise can be heard so bring a sound machine or ear plugs. I would give this advice for every hotel in Sri Lanka!
