The hotel is right opposite the lake, offering stunning views of the lake and hills. It was so picturesque, and the hotel neatly presented. The staff were absolutely brilliant...warm, welcoming and service with a smile - always! My family and I were thoroughly impressed by how helpful and personable every single staff member was. The breakfast was absolutely lovely; fresh, tasty and hearty. We had lunch in the hotel on one day and the food tasted wonderful.

The hotel water from the shower was irregular. I'm not sure if this was a temporary glitch or if it was due to the high occupancy at the hotel and the number of people showering in the mornings. The only other minor point was that the gym cardio equipment could do with an update.

Close to the lake and convenient distance from city centre, always available tuktuk for 500 lkr. Highly recommend lake view rooms. Very nice pool at the rooftop included in price. Wide selection of foods for breakfast. Some nice treats from booking.com on top. Skilled staff at spa - had 60min balinese massage for 15k lkr. All was nice and clean - European standard clean:) 2min walk for nice pizza place. We had almost 4y old kid with us and received extra bed that made our stay more comfortable though the made the room quite small.

Staff making breakfast could use a bit more English knowledge considering it's an international chain. Massage: Little expensive to my taste but still reasonable. The room would deserve some design upgrade since you expect to relax there, not just receive a massage and go away and feel like you're in the office or someone else's room.

Superb experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were consistently helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. While many hotels generally favour more towards foreigners than locals I never felt that here. Further it was during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year and even when understaffed at certain times the staff were friendly and did their best. Special shout out to the Manager, Mr. Irfan who was very friendly and helpful. My only recommendation to anyone booking is to make sure they get a lake facing room as the rooms on the opposite side whilst still great in terms of amenities don't offer much in terms of views and face the road and people's houses. A particular highlight was that, although I had simply requested a room on a higher floor, the hotel generously upgraded me to a suite. The suite itself was fantastic — spacious, well-appointed, and offering excellent views of the lake. While the buffet wasn't the most extensive I’ve come across, every dish was well-prepared and very tasty. The quality of the food more than made up for the slightly limited selection. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and comfortable accommodation made this a highly enjoyable stay. Will definitely recommend Radisson Kandy to anyone visiting the city.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights at a stretch and then two single nights within a week. It is a lovely, very comfortable hotel with Scandinavian-style furniture, creating a perfect balance for a relaxed stay when you travel for vacation or work.  It is in the heart of Kandy city, offering a spectacular lake view. Both the managers on duty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. During my third visit, they upgraded me to a suite without additional charge. The price is reasonable, and I highly recommend the Radisson Hotel in Kandy.

Wifi was slow, but it worked. It would be great if the management could make it faster.

Since the check-in all was spectacular, the reception and the attention of the staff was above expectations. The food and the environment with good vibes provided by live band at the rooftop restaurant was great, special the attention of Nirmal (waiter ) and the kindness and attention to detail of Irfan (Manager) make our stay memorable. thanks all the staff for the high hospitality service and I really recommend to stay. the Breakfast buffet was Amazing too. Simply, definitely I'll come back! thanks all Radisson Staff.

No time to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool... but we'll do next time

Probably the nicest place to stay in Kandy. We spent more time in the hotel than we did in the city. Good facilities, pool area was always quiet with beds available when we wanted them, friendly hotel staff and roof top bar was probably the only decent place in town to get food and drinks until late. F&B Manager Asanka was very friendly and helpful.

A bit overpriced bearing in mind the water constantly runs hot and cold during your shower and there are often power cuts. Location good overall but the hotel is situated on a steep hill that you wouldn’t want to walk up at the best of times especially not in the dark.

Fantastik breakfast, fantastic dinner… too much option and Very delicious 👏👏👏 hotel workers are kind and friendly people. 😍👑We stay there 2 days end of the year . They organise new year party very well and above our expectations….🎉🎉 For families for couples for every body we definitely recommend 👏👏👏. Also every evening for dinner they provide different cultures cuisine 👏👏👏… today we decided to stay 1 more day here and tomarrow before going to Colombo thinking to make reservations for last 4 days of our trip… Welll done Radisson Kendy more than 10 to 10👏👏👏👏👏👏

The staff are extremely helpful. The GM and front office went out of their way to ensure my stay was good as the reservations manager had been very rigid and non corporative to several requests made by me. However that was all overshadowed by very welcoming attitude of the Hotel staff and its General manager who took personal interest in my stay. I have to be fair and say thank you. 🙏

There is no kids area and main dishes mostly were the same for the breakfast

The beds were very comfortable, we overlooked the lake and the room was bright & well maintained. We were up on the 5th floor so very handy for the pool/gym/restaurant up there. Easy walk to nearby restaurants & even into centre too, or there are always tuktuks at the front of the hotel. Great western & sri lankan options at breakfast. Staff were super helpful when my son fell & cut his leg quite bad & I needed to take him to hospital.

Better equipped first aid kit, but I cannot imagine accidents like our happen very often (BTW, it was completely my boy being silly & nothing to do with the hotel!)
