Really lovely hotel with incredibly kind and hospitable staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, with good aircon and the restaurant has a lovely view overlooking the hills. Breakfast was nice, I’d recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast over the European one (but that’s personal preference!) It’s about 10-15 mins in a tuk tuk from central Kandy so is a nice, quiet respite from the bustle of the city! The hotel staff can also arrange a tuk tuk for you as they have a few onsite. I also got laundry done and back the next day. Really recommend if you are in Kandy and want a peaceful, restful stay.

The staff at Kandy Hills were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of local and international options to suit all tastes.   We highly recommend Kandy Hills to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Kandy. Very very friendly staff who worked on the reception desk and in the restaurant. The cheese kottu in the restaurant was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. Definitely try it. The bed was very comfy. The room was very clean. The bathroom was modern and big. Early check-in was available after a very very long trip; so I am very grateful for that. The balcony and the view from it was exceptional.

Everything was perfect. Only improvement would be a small fitness area in the hotel - just some free weights and a treadmill and this place would be heaven.

I feel like you need to get to breakfast early, as because there aren't a huge number of rooms, it seems like it can sit for a while and not be super fresh. Not super close to Central Kandy A bit up a hill and away from the main road, so you need to walk a little to find a Tuktuk, and you definitely want one when coming back from the centre.

It is on the hill and that is perfect as you avoid being in a busy center of an Asian city. Staff was very helpful and decent breakfast. Room was big and very clean. Amazing water pressure and comfy beds. Also you do not need power adapter as they have installed ones :)

No table in the room nor in the balcony. Only chairs :(. Some noise from the street as their mentality is to use the car horns each time they turn. Also a little of noise on the ground floor as people getting in and out and if your room is there you hear them.

We loved our stay here. On arrival we were greeted with staff who gave us juice and a wet cloth - which was welcome after a long journey. The room and en-suite were so spacious, modern and clean. Smart tv was also brilliant to have. The a/c was perfect. The breakfast was lovely. And can’t stress enough how welcoming and kind the staff were throughout the stay. The views of Kandy are also lovely from the hills. Really couldn’t recommend this place more, such good value for money.

Location is fantastic. We could walk from there down to Kandy Lake and eat at the Hideout Lounge and explore Kandy at night. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. View from the eating area down the valley is great!

Breakfast was good but selection limited. Rooms were large and clean but felt a bit impersonal. We were happy to stay for a night but wouldn’t stay much longer. We got a room on the ground floor and asked them to change to one upstairs. They claimed they were fully booked but during breakfast there were only two other tables occupied.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is super clean, modern, and spacious, with a huge, comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. The views are stunning—breakfast and the common seating areas offer gorgeous scenery, and even the view from our balcony was lovely.

There are a few mosquitoes around, so don’t forget to bring your insect repellent. For food, check out a nearby spot called Hideout. The food is delicious, and it’s only a 10-minute walk or a quick tuktuk ride away. I’d definitely stay here again—it was such a wonderful experience!

The staff are exceptional - both helpful and friendly. Staff were very caring and helpful to us on days we were sick and kept following up with us to see how we were. The rooms are spacious with a large king bed and we had a large bathroom and views of Kandy. They offer driver accomodation for a small additional cost and that includes breakfast and dinner for your driver. Food is also pretty tasty for the breakfast options (we had continental) and off their room service menu. Location is close to a hospital and near Kandy city Center if you have a car.

Nothing I “didn’t like”. The food was a standard/good level, which was the only thing I’d not give a 10/10 for, but this is an amazing, comfortable hotel with superb staff.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Kandy Hills Hotel. The room was spotless, modern, and very large so lots of space for relaxing. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, especially breakfast on the terrace with stunning greenery all around. Its peaceful yet convenient location near Kandy's attractions was perfect. Their driver Michael was super friendly and helpful taking us on tuk tuk trips and driving us to Nuwada Eliya. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Kandy!
