The place is simple. Rooms are very spacious, and the views are very beautiful. The owner upgrade our room for better views. He is really nice and good person to talk to. He also owns a beautiful gem store including a small museum. Woth visiting. For the money we paid, it is a good room.

The pool needs maintenance, it was quite dirty the water. Most of the staff does not speak english, so it was difficult for communication. It is not in the city centre, it is like 35 minutes away from it, so the information provided was misleading. My balcony would not lock, so I needed to keep my belongings in the toilet as it had the same key as the room. If they take reviews seriously, they could improve a lot the stay.

We absolutely loved the view from our room which was facing the mountains. The staff, notably Ajith and the owner Mr Kanchana ,were so helpful and friendly. We had great amenities in our room which was upgraded to the Studio Apartment from the Standard room, hot water was available and the room was spacious and comfortable with a sitting room area as well. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel for the perehara season.

The tv was not working in the studio apartment , but not a big issue when you are staying in a hotel with a wonderful view of the hills and nature.

I booked a budget room, but the staff gave me a room that was worth much more, with a stunning view. I think it's the off-season, so there aren’t many guests. The place is calm and easily accessible from the center, located on a hillside. The view from the room is amazing, perfect for creating an aesthetic vibe on rainy days or at night. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities, including a hot water shower, were great. Overall, it was definitely worth the price.

To begin, the hotel itself was clean, tidy and the rooms were the perfect temperature, additionally the bathrooms were clean and the shower was ideal The people were the highlight for me! Upon arriving the hotel manager, Kanchana saw that we had booked the budget double room and upgraded us to a nicer room for the same price simply because it was not in use and to be nice. He could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Then when I found out my AirPods had been stolen he checked cameras and assured me tht it wasnt the hotel and even checked the cameras which realistically was all he had to do however like a detective he helped us figure out that it was the bus conductor on our trip down from Sigiriya to Kandy that stole them and over charged us on the bus. In the morning he had fruit chopped up for us and offered to personally drive us to the tourist police station to get to the bottom of it. All expecting no money at all. He then spoke on our behalf, the bus conductor was brought on and I actually got what he had stolen back! There is no chance that that would’ve happened without him to be honest and I’m a student so I am so greatful to have them back. Afterword he brought my sister and I to a local place and bought us breakfast and we stayed another night in his hostel as I had to wait on the AirPods to come back as they were in Sigiriya. He invited us down with his friends that night in the hotel to try some Sri lankin whiskey and some food all just to be kind we had a great time and him and his friends told his great stories. I would like to give a special mention to a family friend of Kanchana, who was our trusted tuktuk driver for the two days that we were there, his name was Siraj and he brought us all over Kandy to every sight that he could think of for a reasonable price, waiting on us and stopping in for food or at the supermarket upon request. Additionally he helped try get a Hatton train ticket refund for missing it as we had to go to police.

It was excellent experience of spending time there. Room is properly managed and cleaned one.There were little issues with the bathroom such as broken lock of the bathroom door. View was also cool at the restaurant. Breakfast was also good meal for suitable price. Overall the night I spent there was perfect.

There was an issue with the bathroom. Its door lock had been broken and had to get bath when the door open.But bathroom was cleaned as I expected. And also when I reserve the hotel I saw the detailed facility of private pool. But it was not in the room as private. It was at outdoor from the hotel. Those were the issues nothing more.

We have reserved a standard room, but they upgraded it to the dulexe room with a balcony for a great view & a spacious lobby, all for the same price. Our stay was comfortable & enjoyable. Good location and friendly staff. The bathroom needs minor upgration, though. Still, it was very neat & clean. Overall, our experience was really great with this hotel and the staff. This place provides great value for money. You won't regret staying here.

We arrived tired and the manager of the hotel says to us, we'll upgrade you for no extra cost. We were given what we believe to be one of the best rooms with an amazing view over the nearby forest. Spectacular! We ordered breakfast and it was a breakfast fit for a king and queen; fruit, omelette, toast and jam plus a pot of coffee. Superb! More than enough. They'd even check in if we wanted more toast & coffee. The dining area floor was very nice too. Partly open so you could enjoy the views. Sooo loved that the shower had screen doors and the bathroom remained dry compared to most other hotels. Yay! The aircon didn't work but it wasnt actually required as the fan was more than efficient, as well as the door opened out onto a balcony. It was only about a15min walk down to Kandy Lake. The staff went over and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we were happy. Highly recommend.

It could have done with a little facelift but overall excellent value.

The location was perfect - close to The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic 15 minutes by tuk-tuk. ( 2.3 km )The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. Specially Mr.ajith (receptionist)They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.

The hotel was empty so the manager Ajith upgraded me for free and was very helpful with my requests. The view from the room was out of this world - comfortable bed and even threw in some toast and coffee. What a legend! Didn't swim in the pool but it was nice to sit by and close to the lake for a nice stroll. I will be returning if I ever come back to Kandy.
