Beautiful quiet hotel set up in the mountains in a grand old mansion with huge lobby and sweeping staircases that gave a wow factor when first stepped in. The hotel staff are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. You can contact them anytime via WhatsApp’s. The hotel staff were always smiling and felt genuinely welcomed every time you were in contact with them from booking to check out. Had a large bright middle room upstairs which also had a large balcony with absolutely stunning views over Kandy and mountains. I sat out at night and in the morning. Room was spacious and comfortable with a seating area tv (that worked) WiFi (that worked) and fridge. Shower room was a decent size and water was very hot. A sufficient Breakfast was included, they also have a restaurant room service so you can order dinner which we did on our first night (the devilled fish was good)

Nothing to dislike - apart from No TuK Tuk service attached directly to hotel. Not really a problem as you can use PickMe or get the WhatsApp of any friendly driver you use to get to hotel. Getting a tuk tuk from Kandy City to hotel was easy enough you may need to provide a little direction at the top of the hill.

Lots of space, massive bedroom. Very comfortable bed, slept really well. Nice area to sit out and read a book, and have breakfast. Breakfast choice was great.

There are literally 104 steps from the road to the top floor bedroom!! It was fine for us, but if you were unfit or less able it could be an issue. Also quite out the way for waiting for Ubers or Pick mes!!

The hotel was located up on the hill with lovely views of Kandy which made for a relaxing stay after our day out in the busy city. The rooms were large and spacious and decorated in an old colonial decor which added and matched the character of the building. The staff were attentive, friendly and really helpful. They are doing a great job and make a good team. The bathrooms were clean and the balcony was spacious enough to relax and enjoy the sunsets with a cup of Ceylon tea. There aren't many restaurants nearby but the hotel serves good food and room service is available all day which we made the most of.

The mattress in our room was not comfortable and we could feel the springs on our back. The sheets and towels were clean but stained and there was a mouldy smell in the room.

I had a wonderful stay at Ceylon Breeze and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Amazing view from the balcony of a king-like feel of a room, up in the hills, far away from busy streets of downtown served us as a perfect retreat for us while in Kandy. It had a great breakfast and an easy way to order more food to the room. We even washed and dried some of our clothes for a convenient fee.

Had to ask for an ashtray 3 times before I got one, and they instructed us about warm water in a different way than they should. We didnt know which switch was for it, as there was at least 30 switches in the room.

Very Spacious room (king suite on top floor) With a very comfortable bed and air con, kettle with tea/coffee etc, bottles of water provided, large tv with satellite channels and WiFi. 2 private balcony’s to the room with beautiful views of Kandy. Staff were brilliant and very helpful - wouldn’t let us attempt to carry our bags up the (many!) stairs as did for us and offered us another room to use to freshen up etc as we arrived very early so our room wasn’t ready (which we didn’t expect it to be). We had breakfast and dinner here both served on our balcony which were lovely and menus available to order from. As a little outside of Kandy itself the hotel is very quiet which was a bonus at night and especially for us arriving there after a long flight. of course you hear the wildlife but thats unavoidable and better than traffic noise u would get if stayed in the town itself. Great stay for the price!

The hotel is not walkable to any of the Kandy attractions but getting a tuktuk was easy enough either on pick me app ourselves or asking the very helpful staff to arrange. And as said this is also a bonus at night for a peaceful sleep and was very easy to grab a tuktuk from Kandy back to the hotel

Beautiful grandl hotel situated high in the mountains overlooking Kandy City. The hotel exudes charm and character on every floor. I had the extremely spacious deluxe suite located just outside the main building. A beautiful palatial room, huge bathroom with walk-in shower. Large patio doors leading to a balcony overlooking the garden with breathtaking scenic city and mountain views . There was also a sofa and large smart TV , so i was able to listen to music via YouTube. The bed was super comfortable. I can honestly say I had the most relaxing sleep in the 3 nights I stayed there. The hotel staff were amazing, attentive professional and super friendly. From the time we arrived, they were welcoming friendly and very hospitable. Service was always with a smile. (You can contact them anytime via WhatsApp) A standard but well presented breakfast is included in the room rate. Eating on the balcony, watching monkeys nesrby was a unique experience. They have an onsite restaurant. I recommend the delicious and very generously portioned devilled fish and rice. The room was very clean. No mosquitoes, but being amidst nature, expect small ants around. Also, small geckos as you walk up the outside staircase to the room. Overall, i really enjoyed my relaxing stay at Ceylon Breeze. Situated up a steep road, it is perfect for a truly quiet, relaxing stay. The staff are a credit, we couldn't ask for more. The price is extremely reasonable for what is offered.I was also able to avail of their laundry service for a reasonable fee.. 100% recommended

Absolutely great location with the best view of Kandy! Breathtaking views to watch a sunset and count stars at night! Beautiful room with everything you need! Comfortable beds. Great and very polite staff! Everything was just perfect!

The only thing we didn’t like was breakfast. Compared to other places it was poor and ruins the whole experience of staying in this lovely place. The concept of bread topped with scrambled egg must be changed. Bread gets wet and disgusting from the egg. The whole dish was tasteless. If it will be upgraded, this place will be 10/10.
