The property is inclined and has only 6 rooms .The manager Vasanth was very friendly ,suggested restaurants and he got us food for dinner and celebrated our anniversary with cake and wine.It was so special!Rooms are neat and the view is spectacular from sixth floor. There a lot of board games to play .Srilankan breakfast was really good .Wonderful stay!Just go for it!

The property does not have a lift for the rooms so old people might have difficulty in climbing upto 6 floors (max) depending where the room is. Also a full mirror and bathroom door would be nice for privacy in the room we stayed.Not sure if it’s the same for all rooms.

Beautiful modern property in a great location close to 2 fantastic beaches and a few minutes walk to Secret Beach. We met James (and Lou) the owner and their friends who happened to be staying at the same time. We were welcomed to a ‘family feel’ environment and told to help ourselves to drinks and to join in on the daily on site yoga. The pool area was really relaxing and beautiful with the pool being the perfect temperature. We felt more like we were leaving a few days with friends than staying at accommodation. We were given great recommendations of places close by to dine (and there were plenty). The chef (sadly I have forgotten his name) was so lovely and helpful and engaging. We really enjoyed our chats with him and he was obviously also a talented chef. Breakfast was always lovely and the timing of it very flexible. We really enjoyed our 3 days here.

Hands down the best hotel in Sri Lanka. If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, you MUST stay at The Nine Mirissa. It's a fabulous location with stunning views and the building, including the pool, is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the food (and drinks) are delicious. The atmosphere is super relaxed and homey. All of this within walking distance of the beach. We had a fantastic four days here, would give it 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it.

It’s in a great location – not right in the middle of everything, but still close to all the action. The staff was absolutely lovely, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A special shoutout to Chandana, the chef, who was truly the best! His warm personality and our conversations with him made our stay even more special. The property is beautiful, designed in a very modern but slightly minimalistic way which is super cool. The views from everywhere in the property is amazing. The staff were all excellent but in particular the chef, Chandana. He’s more than the chef there, he really looks after all the guests with all their needs and is cooking is absolutely incredible! You have to have a lunch or a dinner made by him, possibly our best Sri Lankan meal in SL! The pool is lovely too.

In the morning the surrounding area (not the property itself) can be quite noisy but that’s no fault of the property.

We had the best time at The Nine Mirissa! The hotel is absolutely stunning — super clean, modern, and really feels like a luxury getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Chef Chandala, who made our stay even more special. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and his food was incredible — honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Overall, just an amazing experience. We loved every minute and will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay at The Nine Mirissa. By chance, the owners were spending a few nights here at the same time, and we ended up having a hilarious evening with them that really made the trip special. The chef’s food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The view is absolutely stunning, you look out over a sea of green palm trees all the way to the beach. The hotel’s design makes it feel both elegant and comfortable. A place we’d happily return to!

Our stay was amazing. From the moment we got there Chandana looked after us and made us feel very welcome in mirissa. The hotel itself was beautiful. We stayed in room 6, which had incredible views. The bed was extremely comfy and the bathroom was beautiful too. To shower with that view was great! The stay was made by Chandana and the team, who went out their way to make us comfortable and had genuine conversations with us. If I come to mirissa again, there is only one place I’d stay, and that’s the nine! Thanks for a perfect stay.

Incredible hotel - everything is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Thoughtful and caring customer service and amazing food at the hotel. There are only 9 rooms at this property, so the care feels very personal and staff are there 24/7. The location is very close to secret beach which is one of the best beaches in Mirissa. The pool is also very nice and enjoyable views around the property. Highly recommend!

Given its a small hotel, you have to let them know in the morning if you are intending to have dinner at the hotel. But otherwise perfect.

Wonderful staff, all very helpful and nice. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Comfort very high, pool very nice. The chef is great and interacts with the guest as well which we liked. Close to the beach but still on a calmer road.

Nothing was a problem really, but if I would give any feedback it would perhaps be to make it a bit easier to interact with staff from the floor where the pool is. I do not mind going up a floor to find someone, but perhaps it would be nice with a bar in connection to the pool, or staff present.
