The staff are wonderful- friendly and very helpful. The manager was exceptional and our rainy holiday was salvaged by his help in getting us out and about. All the people he recommended from tuk tuk drivers to jeep safaris to car drivers were fantastic. Also the restaurant served excellent food and very generous which is good because we ate at the restaurant each evening as had read getting tuks tuks back to resort was difficult due to rain and elephants! The rooms were comfortable.

We had two rooms for three nights and had no hot water the entire time we were there. Also not sure if there was wifi. We were there in heavy rain and the dirt roads surrounding the property were flooded. Also had to pay in cash and with the food bill we incurred over our stay used up all of our cash.

We had an amazing stay at the Jungle Hut. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a great AC. The hotel is situated in a very lush garden right between the jungle and some rice fields. There are peacocks moving about on the road to the property, and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff were also great. Everyone was super nice and very service minded. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had dinner at the resort one night, and it was amazing. We are a devilled beef and chicken kottu, and both were fantastic. The devilled beef is one of the best dishes we’ve had in Sri Lanka thus far. To sum up, we had a really good experience at the Jungle Hut, and it exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in Sigiriya!

The hotel is fantastic. We stayed with my family for 3 days near Christmas. The Owner is an amazing person. On Christmas day he treat us a buffet with all the traditional Sri Lankan sweets which we appreciated very much. In the evenings we stayed and ate inside the hotel in a multi-hourly landscaped area. General the aesthetic of the hotel is in the climate of the jungle that exists all around and this is something unique. The rooms are spacious and clean, Very carefully placed screens to prevent insects from entering. Very good value for money.

Everything was very good. The hotel must be judged as what its name says, a hotel in the heart of the jungle. Therefore under this reasoning everything was perfect and a small mess we had the owner finally solved it so everything was good.

The Jungle Hut is set in beautiful grounds. The staff were very attentive food really good and the pool a great place to dip and cool down after packed days sight seeing! Our room had a tree growing up through it which was an interesting and nice architectural touch! It is off the beaten track and so quiet!

It’s not close to anything else so you can’t get out for food or drinks elsewhere. Because of the presence of elephants at night (which there were every night we stayed) our driver didn’t want to drive there after dark. This meant we couldn’t go out into the town for dinner. Otherwise a wonderful spot

Jungle hut was probably our favorite place to stay of all the places our family stayed in Sri Lanka over 2 weeks. The manager was so friendly and helpful in arranging transport, safari, and making suggestions. The hotel is small so you really feel like you are treated well. We had the pool to ourselves most afternoons, the beds are comfortable, air con is effective, and food in the restaurant was very nice. We also loved seeing peacocks in the fields and monkeys in the trees around the pool. A great visit!

Nothing. One suggestion: don't let your driver rely on google maps to find the hotel. It is very easy to find from the main road to Sigiriya by turning at the sign marked for "Jetwing" and you'll soon be there.

Well, it was an adventure getting there! It had been unusually rainy so many roads were flooded. It is also in the middle of the jungle, which is the best part. We had a very warm welcome and a lovely room. We were only staying one night and we were getting up very early to climb Lions Rock. When we returned we were able to have breakfast before we checked out. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great, service was great, pool was a delight and the puppies were so cute.

Isu, Nishanta and their team took great care of us, family of four, for our time in Sigiriya. Their recommendations for what to do were perfect and the food is simply outstanding. The accommodation is so comfortable and tastefully decorated. The views from our veranda over rice fields were gorgeous. The pool was perfect place to relax and refresh. In the evening we watched nature, bats coming out to hunt into the juggle, fireflies so pretty. When Rory became unwell Nishanta provided steam bath brewed full of aurvedic goodness for him. Their care was excellent. Our girls age 12&14 loved it all. It's a great family space, we had separate but ajoined rooms.

The room was spacious, the accommodation is literally set in the middle of the jungle on one side and rice patties on the other side. Welcoming staff. Organized a Jeep transport when the local road got flooded.

It can get a bit noisy - firecrackers at night to chase the wild elephants. You need a way to move around - if you miss getting a tuk tuk from the owner you will need to walk a bit to be able to order Pick me. Internet at the higher floors is of varying quality.

The resort is located on a countryside surrounded by a jungle full on beatuyfull and interesting birds and animalls. It is a beautyfull calm place lead by a very kind and helpfull stuff, ready to fulfill all of your needs. Especially any support with organising the sightseeing routes to interesting places. You will find here original wooden bungalows (some rooms with a tree inside!), with air condotion and full equipment, that you may need. Kitchen will offer you excellend food. You can also use a nice pool from early morning till late evening hours. During nightime the silence will be broken only by the sounds of a wild nature. ❤️🐘🐒 I really recomend this place. Nothing to complain

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The jungle surroundings were very peaceful. Lots of food options on site and very reasonably priced.

The power went out a couple of times, but it kicked back in within the hour (but not sure if there was anything they could do about it). The ac didn’t seem to work super great, but we weren’t fussy and didn’t mention anything until we left and they said they would look into it. It’s off the beaten track - so if you’re looking for something near the action, it might not be the best option. But if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway - this is your spot!
