We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at Amron Resort. The room was incredibly spacious, super clean, and the beds so comfortable. From the moment we arrived, Hemali and her wonderful family exceeded our expectations in every way. Breakfasts were a delight, served right on our patio with a variety of delicious dishes. Hemali’s father went above and beyond, ensuring the kids had fresh fruits every day and even packing some for our journey. The whole family was extraordinarily welcoming and kind, helping us arrange taxis, book safari jeeps, and providing invaluable local tips. One memorable evening, Hemali’s mother prepared a delicious homemade Sri Lankan dinner for us, and we still rave about her exquisite aubergine dish. All in all, this homestay was an absolute treasure, a haven of kindness and comfort. We highly recommend Amron Resort to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return and relive the magical moments we cherished during our stay.

This charming, family-run business is a hidden gem in the heart of Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. One of the standout features of Amron Resort is the cleanliness of their rooms. It's evident that the family takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment for their guests. From the crisp linens to the sparkling bathroom, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained.

The family were SO kind and helpful, breakfast both days was wonderful and varied, beds were very comfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on fluffy clouds.

Wi-Fi was patchy but didn’t affect our stay.

Facilities (room kettle, tea bags, washroom soaps etc) were less per the amount charged. Rooms were quite basic.

Very courteous and helpful hosts, with a wonderful family. They made the stay very comfortable. It is very close, around 5 5-minute drive from Sigiriya rocks, and a couple of minutes from restaurants.

Best peaceful accommodation with an affordable price which includes breakfast also. They arranged for me two wheelers to roam around. Best best best

It's a home stay type of hotel with clean and tidy. Lavish breakfast was served. Surely I can recommend staying at this place

I liked the property. Property is good. Property manager is soft spoken and nice person. Service boy was excellent in his duties , very good and knows what the customer wants. I do not remember the young chap’s name. Breakfast was very good, it was not free.

Location wise it is not on the main road or sea facing or on the beach. Property is good but the manager has to be very strict with regards to cleanliness. Swimming pool needs proper cleaning, it was very dirty. Debris need to be removed from the swimming pool for the guest to enjoy the facility. Even after reminding the front desk and the property manager, it was not cleaned seems manager was feeling helpless. Property needs continuous good maintenance. Amenities were missing on the second day. No coffee or tea, no water. Property has most of the facilities but lacking quality maintenance.
