• Location is very near to Tangalle town • Easy access to beach • Calm and quiet environment. • Digital registration without manual form filling • Seemed as newly built or renovated resort. Room and bathroom fittings were new and room was clean and tidy • AC working properly • Good TV channel assortment (initially TV channels were all disconnected by the service providers. But once informed hotel staff managed to get the connection back for us) • We had only Breakfast, which was delicious, specially the fruit drink. However took some extra time to serve it. • The staff person who welcomed and served us was good and friendly (sorry I could not ask his name). Expect more pleasant attitude with security personnel and other staff.

• We had to stay in the lobby for one hour for the check-in as room was not ready • Lot of house flies around the Lobby area • Credit card payments not accepted • Bathroom was stinky. • Could not close one window in the room. Must look in to this, as security is very important in a resort of this type. • Tea/coffee making provisions not available. However, there is a shared kitchen with an electric kettle so you can bring the necessities (including a tea spoon) to make tea. • Please put a dustbin inside the room and kitchen. • No square pin supported electric socket inside the room for phone charging (it was bit strange as hotel is newly built) • No parking space, though we had no issue with that as we came by train.

Ravan Resort in Tangalle remains my top choice for the 4th time ! Conveniently located near town and beach, it offers comfortable beds, excellent Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. The recent addition of a bar enhances the experience, and breakfast is always a delightful start to the day. Notably, Ravan goes the extra mile with the addition of security personnel, ensuring both guest safety and hotel protection. A delightful stay, highly recommended!

Short walk from beaches on either side of town and to the restaurants and bars. Room seemed recently decorated so looked fresh and clean. Great value for money! Owner also helped us get to Hiriketiya as our taxi let us down. Owners are lovely.

Only reason it doesn't get a 10 just yet is that there's no license for a bar and no pool.... however both are on the way so will be top notch when it's finished!

It’s a great location with a beach pretty much opposite the property. There is a great selection of restaurants just a 20min walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride away (these overlook a beautiful beach).

The wifi was really poor, to the point we couldn’t use it unfortunately.

Brand new cosy cabana, squeaky clean, strong AC and water pressure, soft beds, close to city centre and the beach, staff was kind and ready to spring into action to solve WiFi issues. It’s lovely to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves crashing in and watching squirrels and mongoose run around. The top floor of the cabana is nicely decorated, but the bottom floor is unfurnished for now (January 2023).

This villa is the best in Tangalle . All restaurants , Banks and super markets are located so closed to this property. Staff is so friendly . Super fast wifi internet they provide . This is my third time visit to this lovely location as i am frequent traveller to Sri Lanka . I highly recommend this

Abt the breakfast .as per system we received 4.but allready 5 adult 2 kids.this need to change.but after they provide extra 🍞 .but no place count of breakfast in the system.they know abt the physical count of the team.

Ravan is the perfect place to stay if you’re going to tangalle! Really big and nice rooms. The staff is super nice and helpful, they helped us plan activities during our stay and fixed scooters for us. They also made incredible breakfast and dinner, with so much different to choose between. Very close to the beach as well! We would love to come back.

Clean accommodation close to the centre, rich breakfast.

There is no mosquito net, no warm water. My room was right next to the dining terrace, and the TV music was very loud until 10 pm.

We stayed in a villa for 2 nights. It is called a "villa" but the ground floor is empty, with no furniture so, in the fact, you live on the first floor in a big room. The room was clean and nice. The localization is great, close to the sea and a city centrum but is it very calm and quiet.

-No mosquito net -The WiFi didn't work at all. We tried to connect with different rooters but none of them worked in our room. -The breakfast wasn't big. It was a rather an international breakfast, not a Sri Lankan meal. -There is not a reception here and it is difficult to meet staff if you need help in the place.
