A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. My room was large and very comfortable with a nice terraced area just outside where I had lunch and morning coffee. The gardens created a wonderful outlook and a short walk around the back of the property takes you to a very scenic expanse of rice fields. The pool was well maintained and the hotel clean. The location was also quiet and peaceful without being far from the centre. The manager/owner and staffing team made sure I had everything I needed, food was tasty and the safari tour they organised for me was exemplary. I even saw two jaguars.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made check-in a breeze. The beds were super comfy — I slept like a baby every night. The pool was absolutely awesome, clean and perfect for relaxing. And you really can’t beat the location — it’s right in the heart of everything. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!! Spacious, super clean room (high ceilings and big room)....the grounds are gorgeous, ample common areas, and the staff were very kind. The restaurant was a great value and super convenient!! Definitely a wonderful place to stay!! Only a small knock bc the laundry was quite expensive (even by USA standards) and not cleaned (or dried) to my expectations for the price

Very very close to the town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The owner even gave us a lift to a restaurant he recommended one of the nights. We were getting a late taxi and let us stay poolside for the day whilst waiting for this. He offers a private Safari service too which unfortunately we didn’t use but had we known he did this service we would have.

The pool was perfect, the surroundings are like being in a jungle, and the property was well located, friendly and helpful staff

Our room was ok but very dark and the sheets were a little small for the bed

The owner of the hotel Ranijith, the manager Jewak and the hotel staff are offering very kind and friendly attidute with beautiful place to rest and relax.They planned bus trip, gave us fresh fruits and best tea in the world. Around the hotel there is very beautiful garden with many types of tree. Inside of the garden u can find hidden swimming pool with crystal water ,hidden in palm trees. Rooms are the cleanest ones i ever seen in Sri Lanka. U can book a trip to the Yala park for good price at the hotel. I recommend this place for all types of people.We cant wait to see this beautiful place again next year! AMAZING! With love Patrik&Petra

Good location for one night of sleep in Tissamaharama after a Safari. Clean rooms and nice garden. They also have a pool but we didn't used it. Its a good location also for bigger groups! Our driver had also a room downstairs, so they offer also accomodation for the drivers!

We had to ask the owner to turn the hot water on and few charging places next to the bed, but overall good location for one night!

Hotel Nilketha is a great place to spend your vacation with a good quality service and a helpful staff. The swimming pool was brand new and amazing! The environment was really calm and relaxing, good spacious rooms with a beatiful view. The cost of stay was very bearable and reasonable. They can arrange you safari jeeps to visit Yala National Park. Highly recommend the place.

Good stay overal, the location is good: a bit away from the centre but still close enough to walk there in 10 min. The staff was kind and helpfull. They helped us with arrangeing a safari for us which went great!! The pool is also great, for this price you couldnt ask for more.

They didnt have the rooms that I had booked. I booked a trip to Yala with the hotel (paid 158000 for 8 people - whole day). We Got a Jeep, that did not fit 8 people and without a cooler plus they did not tell us that we Could not drive around in Yala from 12 to 2, so we did not prepare for a long midday break.
