An excellent place – very close to the center of the tourist area, yet nestled in the perfect tranquility of the jungle. During the day, it’s easy to walk to all the most interesting spots in town, while at night, you can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. It’s perfect for those who love an active day but prefer to relax in quiet surroundings in the evening. The room is very spacious, cozy and clean, with a super comfortable bed. Housekeeping is frequent, with regular changes of bed linens and towels – a very nice level of comfort. The hotel staff speaks English well and are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The property is lush with greenery and offers a great view of a nearby rock formation (mountain). I especially appreciated the drying rack for clothes. The room had all the necessary amenities, and everything worked without any issues. The balcony is very cozy and a fantastic spot to relax in the evening. Overall, everything was great – the hotel is definitely worth its price. I highly recommend this place!

Great location, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Large comfortable, clean room. Quiet but just off main street .

The female owner/receptionist wasn’t very hospitable when we arrived. The two male workers were friendly despite slight language barrier.

The place was really nice, very close to the beach, all shops and restaurants but at the same time not noisy, closer to nature. The room was big, clean and comfy. The bed was very comfy. The balcony was great, where you can rest and chill and enjoy the sound of the birds. The staff was great, they don't bother you as well, they let you alone to have your own privacy in everything which we really liked. We are happy with the choice. We didn't have breakfast, but I think it should be nice as well.

We had the penthouse suite, we had a pleasent stay, ncie big room, nice jacuzzi, unfortunatelly it didn’t work at the first but they fixed it. Otherwise, great facilities, great room, huge terrace.

Staff seemed to be very unfriendly, besides one single boy which was really friendly, everyone there seemed almost angry if you ask for something, and made me feel like I’mo nothering them.. Besides that, our driver, told us that with him they were even more unfriendly and that in the first day, they didn’t even care to talk to him, which for me was very rude, if he would have told me before leaving I would have said something to them.. Not ok to treat people like that..

The villa has a great location, it's literally 5-minutes walk to the closest beach. Every morning guys are serving the breakfast. It's always a fried eggs and a plate of delicious fruits. They are doing cleaning every 2 days. The apartments is really spacious, and has a wonderful terrace.

It was a bit hard to manage a proper air conditioning in the room, since it swings really fast between too hot and too cold states.

I like the peace and quietness. And the nature. Lots of wild animals. Like squirrels monkeys and birds. Rooms are so spacious. Everything is clean. Close to the beach restaurant and shops. There is aircon in the room and big fan on the ceiling if u dont like a cold aircon.

Nothing, honestly. Only mosquitoes which is very inevitable since we are in nature. Breakfast is same everyday but its also okay not a problem. No swimming pool.

A broom on the balcony would be appreciated. To sweep the sand (beach lovers)

We had a downstairs room with porch, the room was very big and clean. Liked the modern style as well. The staff is very helpful and attends to your every need. It’s in a side street of the main road in Unawatuna and apart from that the isolation is really good so you’ll have a quiet night. Wi-fi worked good.

The bathroom has an open vent which makes it hot and easier for bugs but we didn’t have much problems with it.

Nothing in particular , the AC seemed old and was noisy.

- wi-fi connection is not so good and have a limit, - problems with electricity, - there’s a bit dark in the room
