Our room was on the 4th floor, it was newly renovated and was facing the church and city viewpoint. We visited Chur at the peak of Swiss summer so the heat was blazing, as it wasn’t popular to have AC there similar to most european countries. When we requested a fan the staff gladly provided it. The room is made up daily and towels changed every 2 days as we noticed which was great.

We understand the reason why the sink is outside the bathroom likely due to hygienic reasons since the water is potable but it would be appreciated if there was a bidet or a hand sanitizer dispenser in the toilet.

The location of this hotel was perfect. Right in the old town and our rooms had views of the street with an old church directly across from it. There was no a/c but seems like in Chur, fans are good enough. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast started nice and early (6:30) which was helpful since we had an early train that morning. The breakfast spread offered plenty of pastries, breads, yogurt, muesli, fruit and scrambled eggs and sausage. We had a great stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Everything was great! The only thing travelers should be aware of is that in order to get to the reception you need to go up a flight of stairs. After that there is an elevator to all of the rooms, but for those that can't do stairs or have difficulty with them, it might pose a real problem.

The hotel is in a very good location, a few minutes walk from the train station, restaurants, and all amenities.The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was small and not very well equipped. It was newly decorated and very clean but no air conditioning or fans. There was a kettle, and our receptionist gave us mugs when we asked for them. No tea or coffee supplied. We had breakfast included, and it was very good. Plenty of fresh fruit, eggs, bread, cheese, etc. The girl serving the food was very helpful and friendly.

It was a small room but newly refurbished and they have used the space economically. The bathroom only contained the shower and toilet in a very small space with the wash basin in the bedroom. The bedroom was fine for a short stay with hanging space and shelving if you chose to unpack. The girl on reception was lovely and helpful. The accommodation is located about 500 metres and an easy walk to the train station.

It's not a big deal but there is a kettle and small fridge but no coffee, tea bags and only flimsy paper cups and 2 glasses provided. No tissues either. They mention having an elevator and that is from reception. What isn't mentioned is thar reception is over 20 steps up from the street. A bit misleading.

The property in general is quite worn and they are clearly updating it. Hence not giving a 10. Our rooms (superior doubles I think) were, however, a definite 10. The shower was pristine and we had lovely Mountain Views. This was a great place to stay for two nights before boarding the Bernina Express. It was good to have the Chur discount card that the hotel provided. This gave us 50% off the cable car ride which the two of us in the group who don't hate heights really enjoyed. You go by cable car, mini cable car and a little tractor/train to a restaurant at the nursery ski slopes.

There is a small flight of stairs before you can access the lift. Guests with a disability would need to be aware of this.

Our room was spacious and clean. We requested a quiet room and got exactly that. The location in general is very quiet. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We really liked the breakfast. It is simple, but it was more than enough for us. Decaf coffee and fresh berries were a nice touch!

We stayed here at the end of August. The room temperature was still on the hot side and blankets were too warm. One of the pillows was pretty bad too. But these are just nitpicks. We really enjoyed our stay!

the hotel's location was central and close to train station which was important for us because we were going to catch Bernina Express early in the morning. Room was clean and very big. I wasn't expecting that big room. The staff was very nice, special thanks to Brazilian lady on the reception. :) she was always smiling and friendly. Just a quick tip, some of the rooms doesn't have private bathroom. I didn't realize that while making a reservation. Thanks to the staff they remind me before the day we arrive Chur and easily changed our room to with a private bathroom one.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. We were catching the Bernina Express the following morning so location to the train station was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The view from our roof was amazing, we stayed in the superior room which was lovely, clean and modern. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel!

My only very small tiny detail was that there wasn't enough pillows but we asked for extra and the lady we spoke to on reception got them up to our room straight away.

The hotel is old and well preserved. The room was large and clean with a beautiful view. The large window opened right up to let in the fresh air. The bathroom was compact but the shower was powerful enough with lots of hot water and a very good hairdryer. The breakfast was ample, with fruit and yoghurt, meats and cheese, eggs and sausage and lots of fresh bread. The coffee was also good. The staff were friendly and efficient.

A kettle is supplied in the room, but no tea or coffee.

We booked a budget room but we’re very happy with it. Lots of space, a double wash basin, a fan, a table, small fridge and a kettle. Staying in the old town is wonderful. Lots of interesting and beautiful streets to explore. Having to walk down the corridor to get to the shower and toilet was never a problem.

Parking your car in Switzerland always seems to be a complex and expensive operation . The hotel staff though were very helpful.
