Our stay at Hotel Alpenrose mit Gourmet-Restaurant Azalée was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, ensuring every detail of our visit was perfect. The accommodations were immaculate and comfortable, offering a serene atmosphere that allowed us to fully relax. We especially appreciated the delicious meals that we shared in their both restaurants, which exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location was ideal, providing easy access to the places that we wanted to go. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. Excellent stay in connected apartments with seating area. Breakfast was tasty and adequate enough. Fresh bread and other peoducts with several choices of egg variations. Covered parking space at a reasonable cost although not really needed Very warm and friendly staff who also referred a babysitter when we asked for one so to allow a night out without the kids

Even though food quality was excellent when eating at Sammy’s, we found the children menu quite overpriced especially compared to other restaurants in downtown Gstaad

Amazing family hotel! Very cozy and with great ambiance, perfect for embracing classic alpine experience. Great stuff, very friendly and helpful. Location was super convenient, only 10 min by train to Gstaad and also a great walk to get there. Breakfast was super fresh and tasty. I can only highly recommend the hotel! PS Also celebrating birthday here is a catch, we got complimentary champagne and got help organizing the cake.

Breakfast and hospitality were great. The Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest lift so a little too far with ski boots on. But plenty of parking at the ski areas.

Really enjoyed the town and hotel! Excellent local and regional train and bus service. But having a car was more convenient for getting to the slopes.

The location is good near to train station and bus stop. It’s a nice serene location with tranquility surroundings. Quiet and very peaceful.

My bathroom shower head couldn’t stay stable. I did not raise any complaints about it as it was not a big deal. My room was budget one with limited view. But nothing to be upset about.

The great hospitality of the friendly host who provides great communication prior to arrival and recommendations of ski guides. Highly recommend you take the half board option and enjoy superb dinners prepared by host chef. 5 star cuisine. I slept so well because of the soft pillows n bed.

Just about everything was top notch. The view is amazing and matched by a very attentive staff. It says “with gourmet restaurant “ and I was skeptical but they even hit that right. Wish I could just hang out there all the time

Very little. Inconsiderate neighbors can be easily heard so short of kicking them out it still works.

Really nice family friendly atmosphere. The staff is extremely thoughtful. Came last year but also when I was younger. They remembered me and gave me a free room upgrade. The room was super comfortable and with stunning view.

Liked everything although useful to have a car specially at night

A fantastic hotel to stay close enough to Gstaad but to enjoy nature. This is a family-run property and customer service is superb. I am planning to stay again next summer and hopefully longer this time.

Breakfast might not be to everyone's taste as buffet is very limited and the other items need to be ordered, however it is a big step towards sustainability, so to me - a big plus. Food is absolutely amazing!

Amazing view!! Great breakfast. The rooms are comfortable. Been coming for years. Also the staff make you feel like you are family. Will definitely be back :).
