The hotel was a cozy little hotel with excellent staff. A very traditional swiss chalet with wooden structure and large balconies. We stayed at a 4 bed room and was expecting a large room with 4 bed crammed in all the spaces. However to our pleasant surprise it was actually 2 separate rooms with 2 separate toilets. The rooms was very very spacious. The best was the staff. One particular staff member, Liza, was the warmest host I have met in a long time. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We wanted to have dinner outside and, although the dinner was set only inside, she went out of her way to set up a table for us outside and brought all the food there. And at all times she was smiling and talking and joking with us. All of the staff were very helpful and kind. The location was just a short but very scenic walk from gstaad main station. So the location was very ideal as well.

Lovely big room, good ventilation, comfortable beds. Reasonable breakfast. Good location just outside the village, nice and green. (However, not the best for us as we were there for the Glacier 3000 Run and would have preferred to be closer to the start). Great to have a small fridge in the room.

Carpets on the floors. Very awkward to reach the toilet paper in the bathroom. There were no easily accessible power plugs for charging phones and smart watches. While crawling around on the floor to try and plug my phone in to charge under the (unmoveable) bedside table, I found it quite dusty. I mentioned the power plug issue to the owner and she is replacing the carpets, and then changing the beds to make power plugs more accessible.

Easy walk into town. Also easy walk up the chair lift check in was quick and parking for our large suv was plenty. There is a restaurant on site for dinner and drinks. The view from the balcony was amazing.

Bathroom needs updating but it’s charming and in keeping with the quaint Swiss decor and furnishings.

Plenty of choices for breakfast. Really enjoyed all the staff. Husband was skiing for the first time so was great having the instructors right out the door plus the fact you can rent all the equipment right on the property. Anja, as always mentioned, runs the place extremely well. Feels like you're part of the family. Thank You to all!

Very helpful, friendly staff. There was a minor noise-related problem in my bedroom and when I asked if it could be fixed they immediately changed my room to a bigger and better one without my asking and at no surcharge.

Wonderful staff, very helpful and friendly. Location was good near the Wispile gondola, and with a quick efficient bus into Gstaad, takes only 5 minutes.

I really like to view, was peaceful area, the food was always fresh and tastful. Really nice inside. Cosy, clean and spacious.

A lovely hotel in a quiet part of town. The recently renovated rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Restaurant was excellent.

Located near the edge of town near a couple of small ski lifts. Lovely bed (with great views), clean bathroom. Super-nice and helpful staff, including the owner. Great bread, of several types, plenty enough food to keep vegans happy.

Bit of 'coming and going' noise late at night. The flies! (though not the hotel's fault)
