Location was great, very near the bus stop that connects to the whole of Sun Moon Lake. Just down the street was the market street with plenty of great food options. The hotel itself was very comfortable. Our room came with access to the Rooftop lounge (great view!), which has different food options for early afternoon and the evening. Rita, a very friendly staff, looked after us very well. Our room had a hot tub that you could fill with hot spring water. We loved to soak in it the privacy of our room. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, and the games lounge.

We stayed 2 night with the families. It’s a new hotel . The facility is good. We enjoyed our time at the heated swimming pool. The staff are excellent , offering very good services , particularly in the executive lounge. It truly made our stay memorable.

Breakfast is very expensive. And there aren’t any breakfast restaurants around the hotel. There was no option to included breakfast on booking.com . If you made the booking without breakfast. You may end up eating the breakfast at 7-11

I look everything about this hotel ! I regretted that we only stayed for 1 night 😢. Should have stayed for more nights !! Starting from the free shuttle bus from Taichung HSR Station , the friendly and approachable staff ,the huge, modern and clean room overlooking the lake , the room onsen and the hotel onsen and sauna, the restaurant ( Shao Chinese restaurant - the hotel is so kind to provide my daughter the complimentary ‘longevity peach ‘ for desert for her birthday ) and the location which is literally only 2 mins walk to the Ita Shao shopping street where you can grab all sorts of food and things . We love this hotel so much that we are already booking another trip next year to stay for a few nights !

A new, modern, very well equipped hotel at the heart of Sun Moon Lake's local eat streets. The boat piers, the cable cars to aboriginal theme park, and bike/walking trails are just down the end of the street. Onsite, the Shao Restaurant offers exquisite Chinese cuisine with a touch of fine dining at reasonable prices. We loved our dinners there. The hotel check-in staff, concierge service, and the complimentary bus transfer (>1hr drive) to Taichung HSR are top class.

Besides the pricey breakfast, everything else was perfect.

When the environment is quiet, the vibe of the hotel is nice and relaxing. It's overall better than my expectations as a new hotel. Hotel room is big. Close to the shops and lake is in walking distance for few minutes.

It's too nosey sometimes in restaurants. The staff are too busy to take care of customers and clean the table properly. The first impression for two restaurants is nice, but the experience is decending as time gets longer inside. The public spring area is small, and some customers jump into the water without taking a bath in advance.

We loved everything in that hotel : great breakfast, super clean rooms with lake view and private spa, very nice public spa and super location (close to the cable car, small town, lake, bus in front…). Finally the staff is very competent and helpful (speaks pretty good English). Sun Moon lake is a must go destination!

It is a luxury hotel therefore the price is higher but totally worth in my opinion.

I am regretted that I just booked for a night. i could stay for more days! like literally just stay in and use the facility. the spa facility - free onsen and sauna or even onsen in room are just perfect, the facility and equipment are all new! also location is just perfect and it situated right the ita tsao street. you can grab all the foods and shopping there in just 2 mins walk.

The shower is not reacheable as it is situated at the middle of onsen bath tub. My parents are over 80 and the front desk should be more considerate when assigning the room with this type of bathroom setting as it is not suitable for elderly and can be dangerous. They need to climb and step in the onsen bath tub to reach for the shower head. We complaint about this matter and appreciate the hotel staff allowed my parents to move into another room.

There is a wide variety of choices for breakfast. The hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel was modern, new and classy.

The staff are lack of experiences in lots of situations. Firstly, when checking, the staff was panicked because he couldn't find my check-in paper documents. Secondly, during breakfast, I asked what sort of bread it is and if it could be heated? The staff was nice but unfortunately they couldn't give me an answer. During my stay, all staff I came across seemed to be newly trained.

Really clean, modern and well stocked with excellent in-room amenities. The service personnel at reception and lounge were exceptional. Location-wise, it is right at the doorstep of the main food street in ita shao. There is also complimentary entry to a big and clean indoor playground just around the corner.
