When you get checked in you are on your own which is good and it means you can come and go as you please w/o having to talk with anyone. The room had a clothes washer, but no dryer, which is great becasue you can dry the clothes in a few hours while your sleeping by hanging them up on the rack on the deck. Not all rooms have this, so ask if that is important.

Needed more hangers and there weren't any down stairs but make do!

Stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Terrific staff- friendly, helpful, anticipates your needs! Really, can’t say enough good things about how kind and helpful they are!! Great water pressure, free hot/cold filtered water at front desk, excellent air conditioning, good WiFi, TV has good number of English speaking channels. Our room had a washing machine and they graciously provide free detergent, a drying rack and extra hangers. Good location and access to Taichung main station and buses. Short walk to one of the top night markets here.

It calls itself a hostel, but really it feels like a hotel with the size of the rooms and the fact you get an electric kettle, tea, and mugs, as well as a minifridge to put food or drinks if you get them. It's also in a good location near the Taichung train station, and near a lot of the main tourist attractions in Taichung city (such as Miyahara and the park). Staff also was really nice and helpful.

The location while good for getting around was hard to initially get to - it's on a side alley that can only be reached by motorbike, so when I got into the train station I had to go through 3 taxis to get someone to agree to take me.

Clean and comfy. Writing desk, mini fridge, power hub with USB, hangers are included. Some rooms even have a washing machine on balcony (powder also provided on request). The staff is kind and helpful. Convenience store is close and the night market is also within walking distance.

The view from my room was very poor and a construction nearby had been in progress at the time.

The hostel was well stocked, you could help yourself to bottled water, clean towels, hangers, ear plugs, chopsticks and, best of all, washing pods because there was a washing machine on the private balcony. We found this so useful and we used the machine every day. Location was good, near a park and a short walk to one of the night markets. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The main disappointment was the lack of a common area, we booked a hostel to meet other travellers and there was no where to facilitate this. The bed is a standard double so if you're not used to that as a couple it could be a bit cramped which we found. The room was clean enough but I moved the tray the kettle was on and found a thick layer of dust, and then found more dust behind the TV and on the shelves, it wouldn't take much effort to do a more thorough clean of the rooms monthly. These things wouldn't stop me from staying here though.

The place is quite safe as the police station is just a couple of meters away. However, it was hard to find the place at first, but we made it. The rooms were very comfy and clean, it suited us well. the services were excellent. Except for the construction that starts at sharp 8 am, everything was perfect. Anyway, they were so kind to provide us with free earplugs. Public transportation such as bus were so convenient. Recommend to stay at this place. Worth the price.

I've read some bad reviews prior to booking it. Although I've set my expectations lower, I was surprised that everything went well. The room was great, the TV was functional, decent bathroom, and we had a little terrace where we could hang our wet clothes (since it was raining that night when we arrived at the hostel). Supermarkets and convenience stores were a small walk and that's crucial for us since we heavily rely on these stores when we arrive.

The location is pretty far from the MRT and High-Speed Rail. Like very far. It's quite near to bus stops though, but that depends on the bus route where you want to go to.

The staff is friendly and they help me to have a free upgrade to a room with washing machine as im staying for 2 nights. The washing powder is free and available. The facilities in the room is in a good condition which is value for the money.

The soundproof not so good as you can hear the people outside talking and walking. The location of the hostel might not be so convenient.

There is building construction next door. Nothing negative for the hotel. This will be completed soon. There are no restaurants in the area. 7/11 around the corner was my go-to. The hotel is on a corner but the door is not at the front. I was confused as to which direction to walk each time I left the building
