Hotel was clean, even though the room was small, it had all it needed. The staff were kind, they even mailed me back a piece of clothing I left behind in the room. Nice location, walkable to the major stations and malls.

There is no real curtain that blocks the light from the big window. Only a semi-white see-through blind. I was very annoyed because there was a construction site right outside the building/ our room window. The hotel was good but this was such a big issue for me. They also did not allow any early ( like 30 mins early) check in. We arrived at 2:30pm and literally waited on the street for 30 mins. But I guess this is an understandable policy. It gets cold at night, but there is no heating. But that is the same for every hotel in Taipei I presume.

The location is everything! I personally love this area so the hotel location is ideal for us. You still need to walk around 8 mins to the nearest subway but this doesn't bother us -- we also love walking. The room itself is lovely. The size is decent. And it is pretty clean. I would recommend this hotel!

Cannot think of anything besides there is no proper dropping on/off area for a car. No big deal tho if you only use subway.

Amazing location - 5mins walk to Zhongshan MRT. Property was right smack in the bustling Zhongshan district, but was sufficiently peaceful. Bright, cozy interiors with very friendly housekeeping staff

Mattress was too bouncy. Pillow was too flat for a restful sleep. Reception staff were business-like (neither friendly or rude) - Perfunctory would sum up the general reception Staff’s service.

Comfortable rooms with comfy bed, pillows, nice shower and very clean. Suited our stay in Taipei very well. Close to metro, shopping etc. Easy to commute around Taipei via metro, bus, taxi . We particularly liked the downstairs cocktail bar attached to the hotel …..like descending into another world! Relaxed surroundings, jazz and excellent cocktails.

I like the modern design and cleanliness of the hotel the most. The location is also very convenient and close to all the hippest places in Taipei. Much better than the Amba in Xi Men Ding, which can be very busy and crowded. The last time I stayed here was 8 years ago and it has maintained a very high standard and still exceeded my expectations. I will come back and stay again!

I found the mattress and pillows a little too soft for my liking, which resulted in average sleep. The waiting lounge is also a little small with only 4 chairs - feels quite cramped and not so comfortable.

The layout of the room - every detail well thought through. Clean and smart room. We stay here for a week in total.

The lobby on every floor was too dim. Would have been good to brighten it , and also better airflow, either with aircon or stronger fan speed.

Great location near restaurants, public transport, shopping.

Front desk staff wasn't particularly good, though housekeeping staff was excellent. Breakfast was average and overpriced.

We had the corner room, the huge window allowed amazing amount of natural light in, the room has an automatic remote to get the roller blinds up and down, which is super cool. Love the set up of the room, huge countertop space and overall very spacious room to spread the luggage out.

I wish it was possible to open a window and get some natural ventilation in. But I understand a lot of hotel windows are all fixed glass.

Clean and modern hotel with nice design. Toiletries, tea and coffee were all good quality. Appreciated the laundry room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is decent, within walking distance to the train station and a lot of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Great location, in-house restaurant, quiet rooms, self-service laundry.

Would be good to permit guests after check out to use a shower as many international flights depart late at night. Even if charged a small fee, the service would be appreciated.
