Extremely convenient location and cozy room. Staff were lovely and check in was extremely straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised by just how quiet the room was considering it was located on the street of a fairly busy road! I don't think I heard any traffic sounds at all, and no sound from other rooms. A Family Mart and 7-Eleven practically next door on either side of the building was great. Very happy, would stay again.

There was a little bit of construction going on in one of the above floors as the entire building is various offices or hotels, but this was out of the hotel's control and we only heard it once for a few hours late morning.

My room was next to the elevator. At first I thought it was going to be noisy, but it was quiet and slept well. I never heard the elevator. The location is very close to the MRT, very convenient. According to google map it's a 7min walk to station, but in reality it was less than 7, maybe 5 and depends on the your walking pace and you hit the walk light at the right time. Getting there with large luggages will take some time b/c of using elevator exit, etc.. There are lots of shops and eateries. I would stay there again. I appreciate they had a large scale to weigh my luggage before flight. The laundry machine was easy to use. Check-in and check-out was easy. I appreciate that they had a key card to shut down electricity once I pulled it out, so I didn't waste electricity. Staff was friendly.

Clean room, comfortable bed, free coffee, convenient location, friendly staff. Overall a pleasant stay. No problem with storing your luggage after the check-out. There is an excellent breakfast place just round the corner.

Nowhere to put your handy stuff. There is only a small desk in the room occupied by a desktop computer and a screen (who needs them in a hotel room these days?), no shelf for cosmetics in the bathroom. The walls and the floor in the room need renovating.

The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the mrt. Room is clean and there is free coffee! There is water station for refilling, also coin operated washing machine. We had the family room and it was very comfortable. There are Family Mart and 7-11 on the ground floor.

There is construction right next door so be ready for noise early in the morning.

We are the second time here. Early we stayed at Stay Inn 2 and now we stayed at the main hotel Stay Inn. The apartment here was a bit bigger so it was reasonably big for the family of four. The staff was excellent, very respectful and helpful. The place is located centrally so I would recommend to stay here for everyone.

Very surprise to see the washlet toilet bowl at this price range hotel.it is amazing . Location is also great , 4 mins walk to bus stop(ambassador hotel station),7mins walk from Shuanglian Mrt. Somemore, you could find 7-11,family mart which just beside hotel,many good food around Shuanglian Mrt. Definitely will come back to this hotel if there is next time to visit Taipei.

Not really...

I have stayed at this hotel three times and the rooms have gotten better each time. It was also nice to be able to use the washing machine and dryer.

The first room I stayed in had a bit of a musty smell. The whole room was old, the wallpaper was torn and there were cracks in the bathtub.

Compact room but clean and functional enough for a short stay. Good location with easy access to public transport, also easy access to convenience stores. Good variety of amenities (coffee machine, access to washing machine and dryer, desktop computer, wifi access)

A little bit dusty, and visible signs of rundown in the corners of the room. Entrance at ground floor is not obvious enough, I almost walked right past.

We liked the location because all the famous night markets are just one bus ride away. Taipei Main Station is just one ride away (7mins ride, 3stops) There is a 7eleven and Family Mart downstairs. The street is very safe and walkable at night I highly recommend this hotel. In fact I will book my in laws here on their trip next year.

The floor is kinda dusty and not thoroughly cleaned.

Good location to stay according to the locals, walking distance to metro station, morning & night market, bar street, and tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Computer and other considerate tools like adaptors and phone stand were provided in the room.

There's heavy cigarette smell along the whole corridor that won't go away through our 3 nights stay, though it should be a smoke-free hotel.
