Good location, very decently sized room. Easy check in. The bed was super comfy, not too soft or springy. AC worked well but wasn't needed really. The weather was great, I kept the window open most of the time (though there were occasional noises from the traffic at night).

They don't serve breakfast but it didn't trouble me at all, lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. When I asked the receptionist whether it would be possible to check out an hour late, she said it would cost 200 NTD... unless I would leave a 5-star review on Google or TripAdvisor and(!) show it to her as a proof it was 5 star. I don't think there is anything wrong with charging for checking out late (though many hotels will throw it in as a freebie when the room's available), nor with giving perks for leaving a review in general. But demanding a proof it was 5 stars rather than just asking for an honest feedback seemed underhanded.

The subway system is excellent in Taipei. Therefore there is no location that is close to the subway station is bad. This hotel is located between two subway stations. Convenient to anywhere in the city. The second floor of the hotel is designated for guests to have snacks, coffee, ice cream 24/7. Usually it is very quiet. I have met my friends there to chat for a long time. He even think it is better than meeting at the Starbucks. The coffee machine makes all kinds of coffee to meet your needs. The 3rd floor provides free laundry. Unfortunately I didn't know until the last day. Well, I used the laundry store nearby for wash and dry with $3.00. The breakfast was a simple one. The hotel provides only bread for toast with butter and jelly.

If I have to be picky, I would suggest the hotel to add some hard boiled eggs for breakfast to make it look more nutritious.

We arrived very early so had booked the room from the night before. This was all fine with the hotel and we were able to check in and get into our room straight away. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom with Japanese toilet and bathtub. Enough space for our two big bags and extra small bags. Great location. Quiet room. Air conditioning was very good, needed with high temperatures outside. Breakfast/snack room was spacious with food and drink available, great to have cold water available. They said they were renovating and there might be noise. Only thing we saw was one of the lifts having protection up for the workers. Booking again for our return trip to taipei.

When we checked out we asked if there was a discount for booking again, was just told no. Maybe caught them off guard, but seemed like a pretty simple question. Booked through the app and got a good price.

The staff was friendly, the room was spotless, and all amenities and facilities were there, and the wifi was also very fast. Also surrounded by a few convenience stores and not far from underground stations. I stayed here twice and overall it has been a good decision.

- The wall was a bit thin so I could here the next room's talking, or they were probably loud. - The bed was quite too hard for my liking. - I noticed cigarettes smell in my room in early morning, around 8 am. It happened during my previous stay in April, too. So I supposed it was from construction workers who came in to work in the morning. - My bathroom door made loud, squeaky noise.

I like the free ice cream, coffee, and snacks in one area where you can also read books. We like our room it's not that big, but it has everything that we need. We like the TV. The sheets and the bed are so comfy. I like how the toilet seat is heater and has a washer. Our room is clean and we like the interiors and lighting. The staff can speak and understand English.The airport transfer also can speak and understand English. They are very helpful. It's also very convenient that there's Family mart and 7 Eleven across the street. You can also walk to the nearest mrt station if you need to go somewhere.

The Japanese toilet is perfect! They just renovated it, so it's really clean and new. The shower is strong and perfectly hot. During the day, you can enjoy coffee, snacks, and ice cream. In the morning, they offer toast. It's near the Red and Yellow MRT lines, as well as convenience stores and a small supermarket. The neighborhood is nice, and in the morning, there's a local market.

The window is in the closet, and the view is of other buildings and rooftops. When it rains lightly, the sound of water dripping from the neighboring building's roof is quite annoying. Even though I have a Taiwanese mobile phone number, the staff called us at midnight (the hotel phone is very loud) to confirm our morning taxi, and we had to pay for it then. I had to go down in my pajamas to pay for the taxi at midnight. (It was either that time or 7 a.m., but we couldn't wake up that early.) Our taxi was scheduled for 10 a.m., by the way.

The hotel staff were so kind, accommodating, and efficient. They helped with calling our taxis and patiently answering our questions about the area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The view from the 11th floor was beautiful. The 24-hour lounge on the 2nd floor providing cocoa, coffee, instant soup, cookies, ice cream was so nice. The surrounding area is vibrant with local markets, restaurants, and many convenience stores next to the hotel. Our stay truly was home away from home. Highly recommended!

There was nothing that I did not like.

I liked that at the 2nd floor they have free coffee, tea, crackers and until the afternoon even toasts with jam. The room was relatively spacious (except the bathroom) and clean.

Some rooms have small bathrooms. If you are a tall person it may be a problem :) During my stay, there were many renovations going on. We had been notified about the noise, that's okay, but the smell of glue was a little too much. After renovations are done, this will be a great hotel.
